Um dude prince of Persia came out before assassins creed so technically assassins creed was the coppy. And for every one complaining about it being repetitive, ITS FREAKING PRINCE OF PERSIA! ITS A FUCKING PLATFORMER! I can some up the entire game for you, jump from one spot to another, mash button "X" not to die, kill this guy, jump to higher platform! its just like any other platformer ever made. If you were to go back to mirrors edge youd realize its the same thing!
Are you retarded or you skipped every cutscenes of Prince Of Persia ? He had his own kingdom, so how isn't this royal ? And no he had connections with his father which was probably a prince or king, just play "The Two Thrones" unless you skipped all of its cutscenes or you just simply didn't listen to the little conversations he had while you were playing, so yeah It does make sense and no this game is out of subject compared to others prince of persias, so in this he shouldn't be a prince.
You're making no sense now, we were talking about why Prince was called a "prince", which in "The Two Thrones" proves that he has a royal family, or royal blood. The comparison of "The Two Thrones" with this piece of trash has nothing to do with the subject, so remind me your point again ? The game's title cannot be changed since It's the same plot, It's like changing Assassin's Creed's name even thought they changed the characters, it doesn't matter, the game is the same.
First, It's called Prince Of Persia because It's the original name of the game which cannot be changed but brain-damaged like you won't understand of course, like I said it's like changing other game titles.
Second, who gives a crap about the protagonist ? We are talking about Prince aren't we ?
Third, Prince OF Persia (yes OF, Prince comes and was probably from Persia which means he was either born in there or lived there, so the story doesn't have to be IN Persia), fail.

can anyone tell me if this game is worth buying? i've played the sands of time trilogy on ps2 and all 3 were great. i dont know about this one though. shall i buy it for my ps3? the reviews says its a great game. but 2 things are holding me back. 1) the cartoonish like graphics. 2) u can never die in the game bcuz of that female A.I
the graphics are not supposed to be uber real, if you cannot enjoy the artistry, then you should leave this game alone. other than that, it is very easy and in my opinion its too short. But that said, the game is excellent in terms of character development and scenery. By the end, I still wish we knew more about him though..
this prince of persia is a good game if you want to enjoy artistic graphics while doing crazy acrobatics. the reason why theres more platforming and just one-on-one duels is because thats how the first prince of persia was like.
it's a rental really. it's beautiful to look at, the dialog between characters is great. the not dying isn't really a big deal. in most games now there isn't much penalty for dying, u just get reset to a checkpoint. same deal for this. the problem is the game is short and everything feels very scripted. battles always play out the same and maneuvering the environments takes little effort. the stages also get dull due to same objective syndrome. but the story is too good not to experience.
i have a question... in the very beginning of the game prince is calling out to farah... does he find farah at all??? i am asking cuz i am only halfway through game... i got it for christmas
in this one, farah is a donkey transporting a large gold supply the prince supposedly got from a tomb somewhere. he lost her in the sandstorm at the very start. never finds her, mostly cause he stopped looking. you should find all of this out in conversation with Elika.

This is totally different,there is no resemblance except for farah,the prince looks totally different,the fighting style is different,the acrobatics are cooler now! The terrain is really vast to explore and this is not a linear game,you can have multiple endings!!

Have a look at kratos in god of war,he blocks instantly at the touch of the button!! Besides they kept belaboring that line' you cannot change your fate' in warrior within!! It pissed me off so much!! Besides the prince didn't have one cool move which would make your jaw drop and say 'cool'. Only the 'dagger of time' and those 'speed kills' were fine.

you get about 3 hours game time from the DLC. If you enjoyed the game its worth it. Im getting mine tmoro. I enjoyed the game. lol. and again if you enjoyed the game it is worth the 800 points.

The graphics look awesome. You fools are ignorant. Not only is the style killer, but there's a huge draw distance and plenty of detail. Realism isn't the only way graphics can look good, kids.
so i don't know all about the "vital element" or what not.. or maybe i just don't put much emphasis on the video but i think the graphic is pretty good. it's amazing how graphics grown so much.. compare to the simspons to this.. don't get me wrong though, love the simspons!
this video seems to be missing one vital element...whether its due to the source or what not I don't know...but the official game utiises cell shading and looks completely different to this...check ubisoft official video's befo0re commenting...
maybe there was a budget cut? but it still looks like a fun game though. Graphics count like...35% of a game to me, but better graphics the better. but they lack in this one, so lets hope they have a fun in-game engine and physics

I dont agree. Many games have a classic "realism" style. It`s just a few games out there that have something unique. This is one. Thats what`s great about the game. It`s different.
cell shading. Thats what it is called so if you are looking for a realistic game do not buy it. Just don't go around and say the game sucks with out getting the full picture.

Loved this game, pure and simple. It only really focused on 2 characters, but they both have incredible depth and personality.
The imageries and the story sticks with you long after you finished the game.

ok but u gotta admit that this could have been a way better game... i still dont get y where u comparing POP to DMC or GOW....i know they are a better gabes and all but what i meant with the slow motion was that when u wehre slicin' tha bad guys head or body it gave it a special touch....AN YEEAH IVE PULLED EVERY SINGLE COMOBO ON POP GOW AND DMC so dont give me that "u aint good at this" shit ...and yeah chill man RELAJATE

I am comparing them to tell you that combat wasn't that good in pop in comparison,you know if you play dmc3 first and then pop anybody would say combat in pop isn't that good?? you get about 3 hours game time from the DLC. If you enjoyed the game its worth it. Im getting mine tmoro. I enjoyed the game. lol. and again if you enjoyed the game it is worth the 800 points.

god of war copied the prince of persia's style, with acrobatic tricks, and weapon usage
plus prince of persia came before god of war, so they used lots of the same ideas
prince of persia copied god of war with all the botton sequence kills

maybe there was a budget cut? but it still looks like a fun game though. Graphics count like...35% of a game to me, but better graphics the better. but they lack in this one, so lets hope they have a fun in-game engine and physics
