@LemonDude94 no people who think it bad is because they are not trying to draw a portrait in 10 minutes. we trying to draw it to actually look more like the model/ how to draw a more accurate portrait

well in this video there are interesting guides, but the portrait itself sucks, the kids face was changed very much and the expression was not the same there was mistake in eye simetry(right eye is bit higher) still the video givs lit of information

Nice video's to watch and am learning a great deal. This guy in general is a great artist.

For this portrait he seems to be way off with the general shape of the face and its features. The kids face is clearly more long and narrow.

Great drawing... I just really wish that I could see how you get your basic preliminary sketch laid out; It was just too white and pencil marks too faint to really tell your method; This is the one thing I have the most trouble with. If you don't get this part 'right', no matter how good you are at shading or highlighting, you just can't capture that true likeness. If you have time to respond, I'd be most grateful. Again, thanks for sharing your work!

Wow. It's good, but i've been into drawing cartoons. I like the way Avatar does its cartoon, with decorative backgrounds and close to life characters (except when they're silly) but i also like Wind Waker's cartoons, with the head bigger than the body. It looks really cute.

nah what he is showing should help you, if you can see and draw the entire head accurate before going in and drawing the details, the rest of the head falls in place..try it next time you draw just draw the outline of the head but make sure to see all the angles believe me it will help you. but if you are having alot of trouble then do start with your basic cylinders distant lines and all this will start to make some sense to you god bless brother! =D
