A type of Commando Paratroopers they are the equivalent of "Pathfinders", they are not only Legion but consist of soldiers from French regiments aswell.
They are HALO trained, and do reconwork among other things.
2eme REP is the French Foreign Legion Paratroopers.

All these pictures were taken by photographer Jose Nicolas at Lac de Codolet near the 6 REG (now called 1 REG) base.
I'm not sure why everybody calls all cool Legion Pics as 2 REP pics. There are other pics on here that are not 2REP also.
