And during this song only one was lead, John is just playing lead guitars, not the rhythm guitars. When Iron Maiden play this song nowadays, they have 2 guitars on rhythm and 1 on lead. It's the way it's been done for a while.

In general I find DT songs harder to sing, the only thing tough about maiden and priest vocals are the highs...in DT it is not just the highs but to be able to sing in the various modes that the band uses in the music like phrygian, dorian, lydian, mixolydian etc etc etc....for eg i find singing to octavarium razors edge without a backing track extremely difficult because its not in your regular minor harmonic scale.

Wow so many people hating on the singer just because he isn't a Dickinson impersonator! He sings with full voice, no falsetto, and has ruptured his vocal chords before. Not only that but he sings with his voice instead of trying to sound like Bruce. James is fuckin awesome vocalist. Having seen both bands DT is much cleaner than Maiden. Instrumentals and all.

Maiden had some serious stage props going on (like a fucking spaceship) and played a lot of their new stuff which I dont care for. DT outplayed Maiden so hard, and even my dad though thought so. I wouldnt say any band outplays Maiden except DT. I cant wait to see DT by themselves. Maybe with Mike Mangini this time around? Yes they are the best =)
