Power was not only an excellent actor, but also a good pilot. He was a marine and did combat duty in WWII and received two bronze stars.

Tyrone was the most remarkable actor to ever grace the screen. His beauty was not only on the outside but within...as he shows in this wonderful movie. In my humble opinion, no one comes close to him.

@daisydownunder A terrible oversight!! His performances in Razor's Edge and in This Above All were Oscar worthy as was Nightmare Alley. And I can not forget to mention his ability to make one laugh, he was good at that too. If you can't tell, I am a little of a Ty admirer. I have been since at the age of 9 (many, many years ago...lolol) I watched Blood and Sand with my mother. I 'fell in love" with him then.....and it's been that way since.

Daisy, you caught scenes where you see how intelligently and sensitively he commits to his lines. His delivery is completely believable.

The warmth you feel for your subjects always comes thru and is a pleasure to experience. I gave you and Ty 5 stars!
