i do bush craft and done some hard survival in the forces. i use all modern gear if not made myself and it can get very hard and depressing when your wet, cold hungry and dirty. this is survival from the roots, most people wouldnt last a weekend doing this
Living monkey brains and dead people. Ever eat school cafeteria food? I enjoyed both the vids but some of the comments were hilarious. We can see that the people in these two videos had this adventure but from some of the rest of you I see nothing but macho BS; easy to post but difficult to prove.
Love the slid show, the end is especially funny coming back to civilization. You all like you were toasting the end to a great adventure. I'm definitely inspired to practice more primitive living skills. Thanks for posting the video!

Good thing these people didn't live back in the 1800 where there were Indians roaming the country side the men would have been scraped and the woman would have been in slaved if they would have been living in the stone age they would had to fight for there lives.there would have been a lot more bears, mountain lions, wolfs, Indians it wouldnt have been such an eash walk through the woods
@mogges1 You think warfare was prevalent in primitive societies, do you? Let me ask you, how much scalping would you be doing if you had to feed your family each day with nothing but what you could hunt or gather? Civilization has always held the greater propensity for warfare. Primitive societies are more concerned with eating than killing. I wish I could say the same for modern societies.
@crunchmetal I have been in 2 wars.Korea and Nam.let me ask you ever seen your buddy get blown in half with his guts splatter all over your face.I have.you people think you know hard times.how would you like to sit your ass in a nam prison camp for a yr.and eat with rat bigger than house cats.been there.to see men so sick they puke all over the palce,to see little girl blown in half. are sexualy abued to death.Yeah I have seen war.I have seen whole dam village blown to shit.
@mogges1 I have eaten shit that would make you gag.ever eat a monkey while its still alive and cut the top of it head off and eat the fucking brains while there still moving and warm.ever eat a human. I have I know what its like to be so starved you would eat the the dead guy next to you.I know what it like to drink water that black as coal and then puke your gut up because of human wast and they waant give you clean water.
@Linker0x0 It's not all fun and games. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll get yourself killed. These people obviously have excellent outdoors skills.
I wonder if those stone age women ya had with ya were very hard to conquer?

Living vs surviving is easier during the right season of the year.
Wonder what reactions/interaction were to those from the modern world when they encountered each other.
The fire ravaged area must have been a good area to get out of when living as a hunter gatherer.

We lived not survived which makes a big difference. Living with the land not battling against it.

@mogges1 You obviously either didn't read my comment, or didn't understand it. Your comment is entirely irrelevant and unrelated.

@mogges1 Yeah, and it's a good thing it wasn't 500, 000 years ago too during our last ice age, or they would have all froze to death! Poser's.
