Yes, it is reality. Also, the planet has shifted on its axis, altering the gravitational field, creating an electro-magnetic flux, which has profound meteorological impact. For those interested, these anomalies are not singularly the fault of global warming; however, the axis shift could be the reason for that as well. No one knows for sure just yet. Also, check out planet Nibiru.
Some other news channels from other states act like a couple farms are flooded but its alot more than that, last time i watched the news 1 person has dided so far in Cedar Rapids.
yeah a lot of crops are totally destroyed. We just was getting the garden on Ellis park area planted and going and now all of it is gone. I was looking forward to seeing the garden grow.
lonohawk are you from another state? just so your not misinformed about 280 city blocks of downtown cedar rapids are under 5+ feet of water... it's terrible
Yes - The bridge was washed away. Last pictures I have seen show some of the cars and bridge still standing. gazetteonline has pictures of it collapsing.
This bridge collapsed at 9:43 Thursday morning. The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Rail Co. had put about 20 hopper cars on the tracks to try to hold the bridge down and in place, but they didn't do the job and the entire bridge fell in. The hopper cars are also in the water and who knows how much more they're going to dam up the river. :( This is shaping up to be a baaad day. :X
That bridge collapsed last I heard. Anyone have pictures or video from the Windsor Apartments up on Ellis Blvd??? My parents were evacuated yesterday from that area and I'd like to know if there's any news from around there. Thanks.

This historic bridge is now under water. It was built in 1903 for the Cedar Rapids & Iowa City Railway, then an electric "interurban railway".
