  • Really This Shit Is Ugly...... These Big Ass Parts In This Girl Hair Girl Do Better

  • what cream did you use on the twist ?

  • What did you use to moisturize the hair, & how long did it take to do this.?

  • finally a good tutorial. thanks. but how do u hold the ends together. mines untwist pretty easy :(

  • She twisting the hell outta that hair!!!!

  • What do you use to hold the twists together at the bottom of the hair? Is there a certain hair cream or gel to use to hold the ends?

  • i love twist. all ethnic hair should try it :)

  • i luv this i'm on my second week rockin' twist in my relaxed hair. i might stretch my relaxer longer w/ these. i was gonna relax in nov (last relaxer early august) but now i'm in noooooooo hurry! best protective style ever! thanx for the vid, i only see yt vids of individual twists on naturals.

  • I haven't done twists since I was like seven years old. lol! I'm growing out my hair now and i'm most definitely going to twist it... I just needed to be shwon how. lol! thanks for the video!

  • i love it nice i wanted my real hair like that

  • I can't believe it. Her hair is just past her shoulders and we call it "great lengths" like in this video. Wow, when will people start recognizing relaxers suck, are bad for your hair, and will never live up to your hair in its natural state.

  • @Writerchic1 sweety parts of your comment is true but tell me, black wowmen kids teens our hair shrinks and sometimes we want our hair to be straight for certain occasians such as a party or a wedding or just to look pretty and beautiful but see what a relaxer does is when wowmen and young girls sweat or your int he rain is stays straight 2 its eaisier to manage and three its easy to wash and you can grease it down the way you want to and the hair falls down with the relaxer.your hair cn b short

  • I love the twists! I have been thinking about doing this with my hair for quite some time, but I am wondering if it can be done with my hair because I have one small section of hair that was broken out due to a relaxer years ago and it has just started growing back. My question is: will this show in my twists? Or can I blend it with the longer strands where it will not show through? I would appreciate any helpful comments! Thanks!

  • @TheSweetSexySassyOne Thanks so much :-) It depends on where your broken sections of hair lays on your head... if it's somewhere near the hairline, for example, then maybe you can just flat twist all the hair at the hairline to a certain point, then twist the remainder. Or, you can use extension afro-kinky hair on those parts or even setting your twists on curl rods for curly twists. Ultimately, everything is trial and error. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Hope this helps :-)

  • how do you get the twist to stay, because with relaxed hair you don't have that texture to keep the hair to stay on the ends?

  • @ob2be What you see in the video is all I did to get the twists to stay. It all depends on the product. Just make sure to use a thick moisturizing creme when twisting. Also make sure that the hair is well moisturized before hand (and it would be nice if the hair has been deep conditioned prior to twisting). I personally like the Curly line of products for that ;-)

  • Just what I needed. Thanks for this tutorial.

  • @cantsingalick Thanks so much! I'd love to see the result of your twists :-)

  • can this break hair if their is 2much new growth or actually wat's ta limit 2 how much new growth and can this be use 2 go natural?

  • @girlz10nextdore Not at all, as long as you continue to moisturize your hair daily or every other day and take proper care of it generally. I personally can even wash my hair with twists in them - I try to with conditioner only and no shampoo so as not to tangle or dry out the twists. This is a great transitional style if you want to go natural because it's one of the few styles that can be worn on relaxed hair with natural newgrowth.

  • I appreciate everyone showing their different ways of achieving the twist style on their hair! Please keep them coming...

  • I'm transitioning and did mine on blow dried hair and it holds better than flatironed ends.

  • @ahsenerb27 That's awesome :-) The more you stay away from direct heat, the BETTER ;-) Happy Transitioning!

  • @coilyhair Thanx so much!!!!!

  • i think it will also look good if u put rollers on the ends, it can also keep the ends from coming apart :)

  • @SharaNaturalJourney Thanks SNJ :-)

  • i love this style i wanna try it but i dont know what it will look like on shoulder length relaxed hair...oh and my roots are coily to but its more of a 3c/4a

  • @datrice13 I actually have another video in the works... I did twists on 3C hair, but it was all natural, not relaxed. I always encourage women to try it because the purpose of my videos is to show the diversity in looks that one style can give many women. Your hair texture and size of twists--and even products used--can give you different looks.

  • This is great! How do you keep the ends from unraveling? I am transitioning and I want to do this to but I'm afraid that my ends will unravel.

  • @TheNaturalBaby, thanks! I twisted the hair very tight towards the very tip of the ends, sometimes using my finger nails to finish it off. Using more product helps too. If your twists still aren't "sticking," then maybe they are too loose. Try pulling apart the two strands at one point to push the twists up some, and then continue twisting. The less space in between the twists, the better. Hope this helps!

  • Thanks for making me beautiful BK

  • @OMDONE You're welcome! We'll do an update video in 2010 to show your length progress :-)
