i support ron paul, but i dont support getting ride of the minimum wage. i see that their is to many man dates but just because their is to many doesnt mean you start cutting them. the only way this would help the poor is because employees could hire people starting at 4 or 5 dollars an hour. you can not live off of that you would have to still have to go to the goverment for support like food stamps. but people would still take the jobs but only because thats how desperate america is now.
people,,well tax that as well.an example you save $15,000 and you already paid taxes on that money,,you give that money to someone,,they have to pay taxes on that money.Taxes that already were paid.you buy a new car,you pay taxes,2 years later you sell it,the person buying it,pay taxes of the cars value,2 years later,,that person sells the car,,the 3rd person pays taxes on the value of the car.etc.etc the car was taxed 3x.The car should be tax when purchased new and that it.we are tax slaves.
look at the past 5-10 presidents and what theyve done,, and all of whom were going to turn this country around,hell,,gas has doubled in cost in less than 3 years.I say vote an underdog in ,,he cant mess it up anymore.Any american can become president..A LIE,,all presidents or potential presidents have come from money.no "joe blow" common guy will ever become president.You dont think any one guy runs the country?. @Jontish316 Who gives a fuck? The other's don't really believe in anything other than financial/power gain.
We can wait for the separation of church and state until that actually becomes relevant. The issues Paul describes and debates against are the relevant issues that matter today, right now.
@EvilHamsterbot Ah yes, having god in the government is such a good idea. Just look at Iran. And also, i never said that there aren't more pressing matters at hand. Don't be a douche.
I live in sweden and I know that I cant actually vote for Ron Paul, but what Im doing instead is to LIKE every Ron Paul video, favorite it and leave a comment. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME... RON PAUL 2012

@hendtheeternal the average ron paul supporter would say "he stands for liberty and freedom!". for example, when someone dies of cancer because they have no health insurance, thats freedom.
So just that there are ways to cure cancer means that its our government's job and responsibility to ensure that every case of cancer no matter the cause is treated fairly? That's not reality, man. =/
We can cure the world, even if we have A cure... getting enough cure... Its not as simple as 'well just fix it!'.
Note that I agree the health care industry in America needs work. I read a story about a european heart surgeon needing an emergency operation in CA and going bankrupt for something here that would cost within 1000 euros over there. There are problems, but government involvement isn't the way to iron those problems out.
The cost of administering health care is part of the problem and its inflated due to how often people abuse the system and vice versa.
@MadBagOfHorses case in point. the european model is what we should be trying emulate. and yes, it is the responsibility of the govt to protect its citizens from enemies both foreign and domestic, even if that enemy takes the form of a physical ailment. it wouldnt be the govts job if the private sector werent doing such a terrible job at it.
I don't agree that domestic threats include all ailments, maybe epidemics that are not at all controllable by individuals, but even so... This assumes that every ailment that occurs and has a potential cure should receive the cure regardless the cost. That's just not a realistic model. Emulate the European model? Because that's working out so well? Having some slightly better scenarios doesn't mean that the overall is a better one.
@MadBagOfHorses is there a healthcare system that is being implemented in some other country that you know of that you think we should try to emulate? and i didnt say regardless the cost, i meant that a reasonable effort should be made. the only effort thats being made right now seems to be one that would protect the profit based motives of private insurance companies
IMO Europe's healthcare system isn't successful because the government is involved, its successful because its cheap. Our government's involvement provides escalating regulations that inflate the cost of administering healthcare here, involving them more isn't going to fix that. I think the focus needs to be taken off of regulating agencies and put on individuals to pursue unjust business and the justice system to weed out the abusers from the abused.
@MadBagOfHorses For weed just do what Canada does, decriminalize it and write tickets for it instead of taking people to jail. If someone is carrying 5 grams or less slap a $200 fine on them and take their weed. Do you have any idea how much money the U.S would save by ticketing people who casually use it instead of taking them to jail and putting them threw the court system.
Malpractice insurance, for example, is so damn expensive because so many people in our country feel entitled to perfect healthcare (which is laughable, nothing about human existence or our health is or can be perfect) and they sue every doctor who can't perfectly outline every detail about their issue. Malpractice insurance is one of the factors that inflates the cost of administering healthcare, there are a ton of others mostly born of abuse of the system.
Regulating agencies load weight onto the overall cost of health care administration in an effort to protect both the system and the individuals using it... but its so far from perfect that these agencies are actually just grossly inefficient. I know this mentality sounds harsh, but individuals need to have and pursue this responsibility. We need to scare companies into doing business honestly and need to pursue honest dealings ourselves.
@superextremelaser Funny thing is the Canadian public pay less of their GDP into healthcare then the U.S..... Ether make it a full social system or free market system, this half way stuff is whats killing you guys too many middle men like Dr.Paul said.
@RossetaStoned91 ive heard plenty of obama supporters admit that obama is not perfect, but every ron paul supporter ive ever talked to insists beyond reason that ron paul will fix the country in a way that is nothing short of miraculous. they insist that he is infallible and that the only way to salvation is through him. that last part should spell it out for you, but just in case, here is a diagram- ron paul = jesus
I haven't heard so much talk of infallibility... That sounds like some silly escalation. What you're probably picking up on, though, is that Ron Paul will bring an influence to congress that skews so strongly that actual results will occur. We all know the president isn't the son the father and the holy ghost, but he is very influential and RP's influence is strong enough to actually make some moves.
Will everything happen that he likes/wants? Of course no
@MadBagOfHorses just look at the two highest rated comments on this video and you will see what im talking about. there is no content there, just worship. he is too much of an ideologist and not pragmatic enough. and i really hope he doesnt get what he likes/wants because he is trying to undo all the things that make america NOT a 3rd world country
Obamacare or Romneycare definitely won't keep America from becoming a 3rd world country. I shouldn't even start this VIA YT comments, but IMO America can't support the involvement our Government is trying to maintain now, let alone greater involvement. Its all great ideas and good intentions, but there's no way to measure this against what can even be accomplished, let alone what should be. IMO its not the government's job to keep America this way.
good job paul supporters on youtube. this is the only place u support him because i'm pretty sure that right now he is behind SANTORUM! 4th! and actually he is the best of all the canidates! I trully believe that! your best candidate is a too old, crazy, unliked, racist! REPUBLICANS!
Why is the only candidate that is intellectually consistent, realistic about issues and politics not the front runner for the GOP? I honestly believe that Ron Paul is what this country needs right now.
@davman187 Reason being, the people (SHEEPLE) base their decisions SOLELY on what they see on TV, do what others tell them and don't do their homework!! (No independent thought there!!) As long as they're comfortable and their way of life hasn't been disturbed, they don't care!! For all they know, they think, Obama's done a great job!! "Hasn't affected me, so he must be doing a good job!" I also find it hard believe, Santorum's the front runner!!
Support Ron Paul Go to to Americans Elect.com And vote for him to get a second window of opportunity for a Presidential race in 2012 they are a legit organization who can do this for Ron Paul We can do this fight two prong attack and get this done! 2012 Ron Paul No matter what 2012!
Ron Paul's message is good, and I think we will see a growing shift towards libertarianism, but really, why does it have to always be *him*? He should have stepped aside and let someone else younger and more coherent step up to the plate. Always rambling rambling, it makes the whole freedom movement look like crazy people

If they don't have him on the ballot I will write him in.... I think he would have a better chance running independent because the Republicans party will not let him ever run for President, people are blind thinking Oh we need a rich man that has run companies and businesses, he knows how to run things lets put him up to run like Romney. Romney is a joke, worse than Obama.
Many people support Newt for good reasons and don't know much about Ron Paul. We need these people. Go to myspace or facebook slash PaulGingrich2012 and print some of the pictures; this may be the best way to help get Ron Paul more support quickly. Please THUMBS UP this comment and spread the word.
I like Ron Paul, but he's almost too libertarian for me. The governments job should be to protect the people, from enemies both foreign and domestic; which includes corporations. The minimum wage, child labor laws, etc should remain in place.
@PiefaceclownPrdctns Its either Libertarian or Plutocracy. I agree, he is a little to "free" for my tastes, but it is definitely better than these dumbfucks that want to blow up both Iran and the deficit.
@PiefaceclownPrdctns I hate Ron Paul. Like all libertarians, he fits his ideology to solve the problem, instead of just focusing on what is the best solution to the problem. Things like decent wages, medical care for all, equal rights at work between men and women, retirement savings, are achieved through Government mandates. All Ron Paul has are untested theories. He will die worshiping the free market instead of living in the real world. Well the free market gave us the GFC doctor Paul.
@bigswano his theories might be untested, but they actually make sense and let me know when any of the crap that they are doing now or plan to do ever works. might as well try his methods. what harm could it do?
@bigswano Hate to break it to you home skillet, but we don't have a free-market, so the free market didn't give us anything. It's funny how people will talk bad about free market capitalism without realizing that what we've had for the past 100 years is not free-market capitalism. In a true free market, the government couldn't hand out political favors so the business of their choosing would succeed. The consumers would decide by purchasing, or not purchasing their products and services.
@Texaroni1231 Hm, that almost sounds like an untested theory. bigswano's point was that Paul dogmatically applies the abstract ideology of 'free market capitalism' to any problem without addressing the specifics. When you only have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail: Q "Do you advocate getting rid of minimum wage, would that create more jobs?" A "Absolutely, and it would help the poor, the people who need jobs. We're against mandates and it's a mandate. It would be very beneficial."
@Texaroni1231 And what exactly would prevent the government from handing out these political favors? What would prevent multinational conglomerates with revenues that dwarf many countries' GDPs from buying political influence to swing the markets in their favor? Consumer choice? Regulations enforced by the government? Ethical standards that naturally arise when regulations are removed? 200 years ago Thomas Jefferson warned against corporate power filling the same role as the British Monarchy.
Im more involved in american politics than I am in my own countrys... Maybe because this type of politics affects the entire world. And what could be better for the entire world than Ron Paul? Nothing.
Thats right. Those of you in other countries who laugh at us saying "haha! those stupid Americans and their presidents." Guess what? Whoever we have for president is going to effect you too. So ha!
I do disagree about the Min wage, if we didn't have a min wage, then employers would pay ppl almost nothing. If there was no min wage law, Your boss could get away with cutting your wages from pay period to pay period. You could be making 20 bucks an hour 1 pay period and then 10 bucks an hour the next pay period or even 10 cents an hour. Just because your boss is an ass-hat. I've had bosses like that before. The Min wage is there to protect ppl from cheap employers who love slavery.
@Davidweiser Thats why you take responsibility and quit. Whats an "ass-hat" gonna do with no employees? That's what Ron Paul is talking about. Everyone needs to take responsibility into there own hands and quit letting the govt do everything for them. That is not freedom.
@Pi55edOffMyNamesGone It's not that simple, You talk as if you never been broke before and no one to help you at all, not even family. The wealthy all conspire together. they agree with each other to drive wages down. If you work in a certain field, all the bosses of that field would agree to pay workers of that field a certain rate. If Min wage laws and other labor laws did not exist, then jobs would be like they were over 100 years ago. China has no labor laws and they work ppl to death.
@Davidweiser Thats funny you say I act like I've never been broke. I got a 20$ in my wallet and thats it. It's all I've had for the past 3 months in fact. However, if min wage was gone then it would become cheaper for large companies to move back to America instead of ship all of there goods. Which would mean that there would be more jobs to be had all around. Min wage also makes it harder for small businesses to grow. I would work for less than min wage, its just illegal.
@Pi55edOffMyNamesGone You just proved my point. You would work for less than min wage, because employers know that We need them MORE than they need us. China is proof of this. We both would work for 10 cents an hour if that's all there was to get. You keep jobs here through trade tariff laws. You penalize Companies for going over seas, you don't reward them for it. They most important thing to our national security is keeping the money here and keeping the jobs here.
@Davidweiser I agree with you. The companies leaving was one of the worse things to happen to America. But if it becomes cheaper for companies to move back, rather than ship there goods then the goods themselves would become cheaper. We get payed less, bur pay less ourselves. The dollar would become more valuable, even if Dr Ron can't restore the gold standard. Which will keep currency as strong as the gold backing it. Making goods seem cheap by comparison.
Kudos to Ron Paul for having the courage to speak out against the Federal Reserve, war-mongering, and wasteful military spending. However, his stance on "no government regulation" is insane, given the proven excesses of Wall Street, the banks, Pig Oil, the pharmaceuticals, and companies like Dow, Monsanto, etc, etc. We live in a "democracy" long bought out by corporate-oligarchs and he would give them more power to wreck havoc on our economy, the environment, and our food? That's crazy!
@Pachecure I understand where you're coming from, his ideas are too radical and would cripple the system and I agree, but I honestly don't think he would hurt this country more than the last few, I mean the dude thats in office now, as well as the republicans are contemplating war with Iran, which equals more debt.. That sounds a little irrational as well. ya know buying another country. besides if the old dude gets too crazy they'll impeach him so you really have nothing to fear from Dr. Paul
This is not even close to the first time Dr. Paul has been ignored on a medical question... for example the debate where he is trying to get his say in by getting the moderators attention, gets ignored by the moderator and then the crowd goes "what the hell?!" and then he is finally asked... ok seriously he is the only candidate with a real degree
Government- that is, politicians-is in the business of getting into my business. What would politicians do, if it were not for the constant stream of meddlesome legislation?
America will sit and watch their "great true and proud nation" burned to the ground while they sit there talking about how they can have guns and fuck muslims fuck anyone who isnt them and they will put them selves further and further into a selp important little box untill democracy is gne and they are just another large blight on the world or they will fall to things like poverty. The country is a shambles and you cant always blame politicians its the people who vote them in!
@rynb93 popular vote doesnt mean shit. it is all politicians who vote each other in. Our entire government is full of corrupt people. That's why they can get away with so much.
@possesedbyaclown Protest if this is common knowledge why do people follow like sheep? its been awhile since a large scale protest was held in america that actually had an agenda!
@rynb93 im against national government. It has never worked out well. There is always a struggle. The government should be smaller. That's why RON PAUL 2012
@possesedbyaclown thats impractical americans are mad about rights how abou the UDHR where it declares everyone is entitled to equal and free healthcare. thinngs like healthcare should be free and both sides make valid points and i am for ron but two parties is not enough for a country with so many problems and issues and things. @JDLnazihunter Typical liberal - childish playground insults and name calling. You haven't enough intelligence to actually write a thought provoking comment. I think I suddenly see that people like you are the reason people like me are going to eventually go on strike and stop supporting your uselessness.
@MeteorMega I'm not a liberal, you worthless goy beast! This old nazi bastard wants to cut off aid to Israel, but we NEED that money. With Ron Paul as president America will be overrun by muslim sandnigger terrorists. You want that, putz?
Yes, it would be so great if more full time workers were fully on government assistance because Wal Mart and other businesses won't pay fair wages to workers. Yeah, real good idea there Ron. THe nation is suffering because low wage workers are getting paid too much for working full time, that fat cats like Romney get millions of dollars per year for not working doesn't mean fat cats are getting paid too much. :/ Paul is right on blowback but blowing something funny on capitalism.
@ChibiabosWolf It's not because of Walmart. I have a business and when I get finished paying all my taxes, I get about 46% of the money I earned through my own hard work. I have city, county, state and federal taxes and regulations. The single thing that will put me out of business is regulations and more taxes. Most regulations are passed as a result of special interest lobbying so they can make money off my business. There is no public risk, no reason other than profit.
@MeteorMega Wal-Mart is the poster child. The lower wages are, the fewer customers can afford your product ... every "trickle-down" / lasseiz-faire fantasy pusher ignores this fact that has failed attempted lasseiz-faire implementations. You should take a page from Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich who rake in millions doing no real work and pay 15% or less in taxes.
Are taxes really the biggest hit for you, not fuel, supplier markups nor health care?
@ChibiabosWolf Mitt and Newt live off investments at 15% capital gains. I live off what my business makes. Taxes and regulation by far cost the most. I pay good wages, equal to union wages in my region, and provide health care. I don't know how much longer I can afford health care because my premiums went up 17% this year because of the added mandated coverages in the new health care plan.
I use investing to grow my business and that will expire in 2013 with the Bush tax cuts.
@10YNWA10 He's a scientist - Dr. They have to have all the FACTS supported to be able to believe in anything. That doesn't make him nuts, it just makes him a pretty factual kind of guy.
@gxbmb Typical - if you don't believe something or it doesn't conform to you view, insult, call names or play the race card. Sorry you are so undereducated.
Ron Paul is a legend...he's been in Washington longer than I have been on this planet...Im 26 btw...Its shocking how Ron Paul has not been a U.S president...If my country had him as a candidate for PM he would have won by majority...Never has there been a more honest politician...He doesn't just give American's hope...He gives the whole world hope...maybe we do need a 1 world government...only if Ron Paul is president...IF ONLY...politics was fair in America...and the rest of the world...

We can wait for the separation of church and state until that actually becomes relevant. The issues Paul describes and debates against are the relevant issues that matter today, right now.

hendtheeternal 3 days ago
@hendtheeternal the average ron paul supporter would say "he stands for liberty and freedom!". for example, when someone dies of cancer because they have no health insurance, thats freedom.
superextremelaser 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
So just that there are ways to cure cancer means that its our government's job and responsibility to ensure that every case of cancer no matter the cause is treated fairly? That's not reality, man. =/
We can cure the world, even if we have A cure... getting enough cure... Its not as simple as 'well just fix it!'.
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@MadBagOfHorses case in point. the european model is what we should be trying emulate. and yes, it is the responsibility of the govt to protect its citizens from enemies both foreign and domestic, even if that enemy takes the form of a physical ailment. it wouldnt be the govts job if the private sector werent doing such a terrible job at it.
superextremelaser 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@MadBagOfHorses is there a healthcare system that is being implemented in some other country that you know of that you think we should try to emulate? and i didnt say regardless the cost, i meant that a reasonable effort should be made. the only effort thats being made right now seems to be one that would protect the profit based motives of private insurance companies
superextremelaser 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@MadBagOfHorses For weed just do what Canada does, decriminalize it and write tickets for it instead of taking people to jail. If someone is carrying 5 grams or less slap a $200 fine on them and take their weed. Do you have any idea how much money the U.S would save by ticketing people who casually use it instead of taking them to jail and putting them threw the court system.
Baseshocks 17 hours ago
@superextremelaser
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@superextremelaser Funny thing is the Canadian public pay less of their GDP into healthcare then the U.S..... Ether make it a full social system or free market system, this half way stuff is whats killing you guys too many middle men like Dr.Paul said.

RossetaStoned91 3 days ago
@RossetaStoned91 ive heard plenty of obama supporters admit that obama is not perfect, but every ron paul supporter ive ever talked to insists beyond reason that ron paul will fix the country in a way that is nothing short of miraculous. they insist that he is infallible and that the only way to salvation is through him. that last part should spell it out for you, but just in case, here is a diagram- ron paul = jesus
superextremelaser 3 days ago
@superextremelaser
Of course no
MadBagOfHorses 3 days ago
@MadBagOfHorses just look at the two highest rated comments on this video and you will see what im talking about. there is no content there, just worship. he is too much of an ideologist and not pragmatic enough. and i really hope he doesnt get what he likes/wants because he is trying to undo all the things that make america NOT a 3rd world country
superextremelaser 3 days ago
@superextremelaser

I like Ron Paul, but he's almost too libertarian for me. The governments job should be to protect the people, from enemies both foreign and domestic; which includes corporations. The minimum wage, child labor laws, etc should remain in place.
PiefaceclownPrdctns 1 week ago
@PiefaceclownPrdctns Its either Libertarian or Plutocracy. I agree, he is a little to "free" for my tastes, but it is definitely better than these dumbfucks that want to blow up both Iran and the deficit.
AlanComek 1 week ago
@PiefaceclownPrdctns I hate Ron Paul. Like all libertarians, he fits his ideology to solve the problem, instead of just focusing on what is the best solution to the problem. Things like decent wages, medical care for all, equal rights at work between men and women, retirement savings, are achieved through Government mandates. All Ron Paul has are untested theories. He will die worshiping the free market instead of living in the real world. Well the free market gave us the GFC doctor Paul.
bigswano 1 week ago
@bigswano his theories might be untested, but they actually make sense and let me know when any of the crap that they are doing now or plan to do ever works. might as well try his methods. what harm could it do?
deidara0430 1 week ago
@bigswano Hate to break it to you home skillet, but we don't have a free-market, so the free market didn't give us anything. It's funny how people will talk bad about free market capitalism without realizing that what we've had for the past 100 years is not free-market capitalism. In a true free market, the government couldn't hand out political favors so the business of their choosing would succeed. The consumers would decide by purchasing, or not purchasing their products and services.
Texaroni1231 1 week ago
@Texaroni1231 Hm, that almost sounds like an untested theory. bigswano's point was that Paul dogmatically applies the abstract ideology of 'free market capitalism' to any problem without addressing the specifics. When you only have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail: Q "Do you advocate getting rid of minimum wage, would that create more jobs?" A "Absolutely, and it would help the poor, the people who need jobs. We're against mandates and it's a mandate. It would be very beneficial."
retron23 1 week ago
@Texaroni1231 And what exactly would prevent the government from handing out these political favors? What would prevent multinational conglomerates with revenues that dwarf many countries' GDPs from buying political influence to swing the markets in their favor? Consumer choice? Regulations enforced by the government? Ethical standards that naturally arise when regulations are removed? 200 years ago Thomas Jefferson warned against corporate power filling the same role as the British Monarchy.

Davidweiser 1 week ago
@Davidweiser Thats why you take responsibility and quit. Whats an "ass-hat" gonna do with no employees? That's what Ron Paul is talking about. Everyone needs to take responsibility into there own hands and quit letting the govt do everything for them. That is not freedom.
Pi55edOffMyNamesGone 1 week ago
@Pi55edOffMyNamesGone It's not that simple, You talk as if you never been broke before and no one to help you at all, not even family. The wealthy all conspire together. they agree with each other to drive wages down. If you work in a certain field, all the bosses of that field would agree to pay workers of that field a certain rate. If Min wage laws and other labor laws did not exist, then jobs would be like they were over 100 years ago. China has no labor laws and they work ppl to death.
Davidweiser 1 week ago
@Davidweiser Thats funny you say I act like I've never been broke. I got a 20$ in my wallet and thats it. It's all I've had for the past 3 months in fact. However, if min wage was gone then it would become cheaper for large companies to move back to America instead of ship all of there goods. Which would mean that there would be more jobs to be had all around. Min wage also makes it harder for small businesses to grow. I would work for less than min wage, its just illegal.
Pi55edOffMyNamesGone 1 week ago
@Pi55edOffMyNamesGone You just proved my point. You would work for less than min wage, because employers know that We need them MORE than they need us. China is proof of this. We both would work for 10 cents an hour if that's all there was to get. You keep jobs here through trade tariff laws. You penalize Companies for going over seas, you don't reward them for it. They most important thing to our national security is keeping the money here and keeping the jobs here.
Davidweiser 1 week ago
@Davidweiser I agree with you. The companies leaving was one of the worse things to happen to America. But if it becomes cheaper for companies to move back, rather than ship there goods then the goods themselves would become cheaper. We get payed less, bur pay less ourselves. The dollar would become more valuable, even if Dr Ron can't restore the gold standard. Which will keep currency as strong as the gold backing it. Making goods seem cheap by comparison.

@JDLnazihunter Typical liberal - childish playground insults and name calling. You haven't enough intelligence to actually write a thought provoking comment. I think I suddenly see that people like you are the reason people like me are going to eventually go on strike and stop supporting your uselessness.
MeteorMega 2 weeks ago

ChibiabosWolf 2 weeks ago
@ChibiabosWolf It's not because of Walmart. I have a business and when I get finished paying all my taxes, I get about 46% of the money I earned through my own hard work. I have city, county, state and federal taxes and regulations. The single thing that will put me out of business is regulations and more taxes. Most regulations are passed as a result of special interest lobbying so they can make money off my business. There is no public risk, no reason other than profit.
MeteorMega 2 weeks ago
@MeteorMega Wal-Mart is the poster child. The lower wages are, the fewer customers can afford your product ... every "trickle-down" / lasseiz-faire fantasy pusher ignores this fact that has failed attempted lasseiz-faire implementations. You should take a page from Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich who rake in millions doing no real work and pay 15% or less in taxes.
Are taxes really the biggest hit for you, not fuel, supplier markups nor health care?
ChibiabosWolf 2 weeks ago
@ChibiabosWolf Mitt and Newt live off investments at 15% capital gains. I live off what my business makes. Taxes and regulation by far cost the most. I pay good wages, equal to union wages in my region, and provide health care. I don't know how much longer I can afford health care because my premiums went up 17% this year because of the added mandated coverages in the new health care plan.
I use investing to grow my business and that will expire in 2013 with the Bush tax cuts.
