The PAK50 is a Russian project. The indians are just tagging along. And the arihant's reactor hasnt even gone critical, and despite being launched recently. It is still inferior to the Xia with only 1700 km in strike range. The Xia can fire between 21 to 2500.China already has the Jin with 8000 plus.

The Sukhoi is under Russian license. The only diff between India and china is, India continues to produce the Russian tech in it's own soil, wheras China mks a slight change and gives a new name to it.

@rohitb3 The J11 was originally the SU27, but the J10 J8 and JH7A arent Russian. The indians have no aircraft that isnt originally Russian in design and they depend on Russian parts. The Xia uses the JL1 which has a strike range of over 2000 km. India hopes to equip the arihant with the Shaurya missile, but that missile has a range 750 to 1900 km. Currently its only equipped with the Sagarika, with a range of 700 km. China doesnt have a carrier, but india's carrier is also imported from Russia.

But indians arent even invited to the test flights. Which shows just how little influence india has on its design. India isnt in the same league as the Chinese technology, imports or not. India's best aircraft is the Su30, but thats a Russian aircraft. And China has seen that aircraft inside and out since it also used to operate them.
Su-30 MKI is a further heavily upgraded aircraft with much better tech. including thrust Vectoring and is considered a 4.5th generation and the best after F-22.
your Su-30 MKK is not really in that league....it's a 4th gen.
Even in the navy India operates advanced modern stealth frigates and destroyers.
I wont try to convince u about the Arihant, since i dunno much about it and im plainly talkin about it frm my common sense.

And until they give out better information about its SLBMs, the Xia is still better.

The PLAAF in the future might have PAK FA and Su-35BM which India won't like it. I don't think the Russian would sell their PAK FA to China is because they will get criticism from their allied India. China might acquire the Su-35BM "Stealth Hunter or Killer." The Russian is offering the Su-35BM to China.

@rohitb3 Its the truth. Most of india's military inventory is imported from Russia. Mig 29s, Sus, are still imported from foreign countries. Even to this date, India has produced no ICBM.

@rohitb3 Thats because doesnt have the skills to produce an indigenous product. From the original import of Su 27s, China was able to produce J11s, J10s, and now a J20 from that experience. The only indigenous aircraft the indians have to show for is LCA. While india is trying to put together an ICBM, the Chinese had already put together a missile with a 13,000 to 15,000 strike range since 1981. China's navy is far superior to the indian navy. Even a lone Xia SSBN could wipe out india.

Since u spoke about 3 chinese aircraft , i'll tell u 3 India's...Hal Marut , Hal Tejas(LCA) , Sukhoi-30mki (yes, it is produced in India under Sukhoi's license)
And offcourse u must have heard about Hal/Pak FGFA (Russia/India)
Also Hal AMCA (5th gen) is being developed.
Xia SSBN? that outdated sub from 1980? India has deployed the INS Arihant in 2008. Far more superior.
U may hv an ICBm, but do u have the fastest cruise missile? One cannot have everythin.

@rohitb3 Hal Marut was conceived by a German. It used a rolls royce engine and its been out of service since 1985. The LCA uses a GE engine and its only 85 kN. The Sukhoi is under Russian license. The PAK50 is a Russian project. The indians are just tagging along. And the arihant's reactor hasnt even gone critical, and despite being launched recently. It is still inferior to the Xia with only 1700 km in strike range. The Xia can fire between 21 to 2500.China already has the Jin with 8000 plus.

LCA's engine will be changed...it's havin more probs.
The Sukhoi is under Russian license. The only diff between India and china is, India continues to produce the Russian tech in it's own soil, wheras China mks a slight change and gives a new name to it.
THe PAK50 basically is a Russian project, but INCOMPLETE without Indian inputs.
Arihant is a nxt generation sub (30 yrs modern to Xia) and it's max capabilities is not revealed.

@rohitb3 No, the SU27 is a Russian design and the indians would still need to depend on Russian imports. China can design and manufacture its own indigenous aircrafts while the indians are unable to do so. The PAK50 would exist without indian imputs because indian scientists and pilots arent even involved in the process. In any of the test flights, were indians even present at those events? Whatever the arihant is capable of, its mostly likely going to have strike ranges inferior to the Xia.

umm....i diagree,,,most chinese aircrafts are copy of russian aircrafts and the world knows that. (in fact i learnt this fact frm Europeans against whom i was debatin in favour of China)
Indian scientists(in less nos though) are Involved, that's y it's called a Joint Venture.
the Mig 21 is faster than a J-17...so the Mig-21 bcomes better?
You hv to take into account the tech used.
Xia uses outdated 1970s tech, while Arihant modern 2000s.

@rohitb3 The J11 was originally the SU27, but the J10 J8 and JH7A arent Russian. The indians have no aircraft that isnt originally Russian in design and they depend on Russian parts. The Xia uses the JL1 which has a strike range of over 2000 km. India hopes to equip the arihant with the Shaurya missile, but that missile has a range 750 to 1900 km. Currently its only equipped with the Sagarika, with a range of 700 km. China doesnt have a carrier, but india's carrier is also imported from Russia.

@Lordofthenipplerings The J20 isnt a joint venture. Its 100 percent Chinese. The only reason india is involved in the PAK 50 is so that india can finance 35 percent of the project. But indians arent even invited to the test flights. Which shows just how little influence india has on its design. The Russians arent interested in indian science, they just need the money and someone to sell the plane to once its finished.

India currently uses a British carrier, The Russian carrier is under trial , and the indigenous Indian carrier will be ready by the end of this year for trials .
I cant argue about the Arihant , since i told u...it's max cap.'s a secret....but even a child would know Arihant will use more modern techs than a 1980s sub.

@rohitb3 But China can build a fully indigenous aircraft. India still cant. And those carriers you mentioned are still foreign made. The indigenous carrier hasnt even been launched yet. Whatever the arihant is going to be. Its current and expected specs are still inferior to the Xia. And would by no means comparable to the Jin since the indians dont even have a land ICBM nevertheless a submarine launched ICBM.

@rohitb3 Tejas still uses a ge engine. So its not fully indian. I dont think the arihant is superior to the Xia since its weapons systems as its currently stated isnt very good. India isnt in the same league as the Chinese technology, imports or not. India's best aircraft is the Su30, but thats a Russian aircraft. And China has seen that aircraft inside and out since it also used to operate them.

Su-30 MKI is a further heavily upgraded aircraft with much better tech. including thrust Vectoring and is considered a 4.5th generation and the best after F-22.
your Su-30 MKK is not really in that league....it's a 4th gen.
Even in the navy India operates advanced modern stealth frigates and destroyers.
I wont try to convince u about the Arihant, since i dunno much about it and im plainly talkin about it frm my common sense.

@rohitb3 Su 30 isnt even indian and its not 4.5 given how dated the plane is. 4.5 are reference to 5th generation aircrafts that lack stealth. The aircraft is still essentially the same aircraft as the previous Su 27 with minor upgrades. india has 5 stealth major surface combatants? China has 14 stealth major surface combatants. And until they give out better information about its SLBMs, the Xia is still better.
