@Rorintosh May I ask you which other anime-based visual novel games you've seen so far that weren't fan-translated in english have been released? Only visual novels, not fighting games. The chance of this one being released is pretty much the same as the others, near absolute 0%. Unless there have been some visual novels released, these are the basic probabilities.

@Mangaman1100 Yes this takes place after the The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya 涼宮ハルヒの消失 When Kyon has to go back in order to save his self from being killed by Asakura, which is where the game takes placed as I said The game's story begins immediately after the ending of the film. The player assumes the role of the original light novels' Kyon as he finds himself at the Kita High School Festival again in a world where the SOS Brigade does not exist. Plus the game is Release Date is 2011/05/12

There's a new trailer for it now on the website, and it looks pretty cool. I myself want two endings, one where the player can choose to stay in the other world (no FFX reference intended) (Which also explains what Kyon says in the first trailer), ane. Td one where Kyon returns to the original world. The animation on the PS3 version looks really good, and the PSP version does it's justice. The game will be officially released on May 12, 2011.

Everybody realizes the PS3 does not have a region lock and even if you have a North American PS3 it can still play Japanese games.The only downfall is a lot of peeps don't know Japanese and the game is probably not import friendly so yeah.

@FranksAJATT Sorry. It's because she said she refuses to work with Anime anymore, and she wants to do only live action drama. She received alot of hate from anime fans because of this. And... honestly, she's kind of part of what makes Haruhi as a character. That and the fact that Kyoto Animation (the people that make the series) probably lost alot of fans because of the Endless Eight episodes, and the fact that there was some staff fired and changed around makes it look not so good for season 3.

ugh...that..really sucks. Our only hope would be for someone to pull of a similar act. I think there's enough popularity to justify a 3rd season though. just look at how much of a hit the disappearance of haruhi was. in any case I think there's a demand for it so let's be positive and hope for the best ;)

@tjb98003 yaaaaa......um, I won't hold my breath for that one.... Would it be amazing? yes. Is there a market for this stuff in the west? no. Does the business world care about us or profit more? profit...... Anime is one thing (even though we still BARELY get any anime brought over here compared to how much is out there in the first place) but recoding a game for translation, even just for subbing, is waay too costly to benefit them

The reason why no anime games come out in america is because no one bothers asking for them because their to lazy to actually ask the company's to bring the games over.

@shurikens68 That can happen if people actually decide to get off their lazy butts and ask the american company's to bring it over. Just tell as many people as you can to request it. One way to request it is to go on Sony's Facebook page. That's one of the best ways. Also try to fill up the page with requests.
