Trips death was so meaningless. But According to one of those enterprise novels it was supposed to make it look like he died. Cause he was actually an agent for Section 31
I wouldn't Say That i mean take a look at Kirk Kirk was war like and he was no diplomat and he brought the Klingon Empire and the United Federation Of Planets together through Spock's Voting for Kirk to Meet With Gorkon the Klingon High Chancellor and even though Kirk and McCoy was Framed they still managed to prevent another Assassination killing Kang the Klingon Commanderof the Klingon BOP Fire While Cloaked Prototype!
Nothing we've seen on screen could possibly explain how Archer helped form the UFP. His character was warlike, flew off the handle, and basically was NOT a diplomat in any sense of the word. The writers gave him credit for helping bring these enemies together, and we're just supposed to nod and agree. A man like Archer, would've gotten us all killed!
SHOULD HAVE USED SOME1 ELSE TO DO ARCHER SHOW WOULD STILL BE ON THEN I WOULD BE BLE TO SEE TAPOL'S ASS ALL THE TIME.HOSHI ISN'T TOO BAD ALSO SHE WOULD ALSO BE IMPALED EVERY WAKING MOMENT
Just to make things clear a direct quote from Memory Alpha the federations founding fathers are Humans, Vulcan, The Andorian Empire, and Tellarites, the Denobulans, and Rigelians joined the Coalition of planets and then in 2161the federation was born, there are 6 federation star ship Enterprise and 1 Starfleet ship Enterprsie, and yes the Alliance was formed to search for the Romulan drone ship.
One of my biggest problems with ENT is that the finally seemed rushed. I really liked the episode but Tuckers death seemed a little out of place. he was put in a situation that they've been in before and he decides to do that now. Thats the only part I don't by. but I really really liked the episode.
They wanted to put the Episode, time-frame-wise to the TNG-Episode "The Pegasus", I think it was called. Riker was supposed to learn something from the Enterprise-Crew so that he could use what he learned in the TNG episode to confess to Picard (although ultimately, he only did after it was too late... xD; )
Great episode! One of my favourites! I like it very much!
Yeah it would have gotten a lot better with time. I mean the fourth season alone was amazing. And to be fair if you cancelled any of the shows at the fourth season they probably be seen the same way some people see Enterprise.
I agree, if Kirk´s vessel was to be the first, make one before was ludicrious, specially since in the episode where mr. Scott appears in TNG, the computer says clearly that there have been 5 ships named Enterprise, including the D.
This essentially started the UFP, and that was the point Enterprise makes. As has been said before they used this to link to everything that came later (or before). Thats not necessarily a bad thing. Anyway to be the UFP it would have to have dozens of signatories. To me its evident that Andoria, Vulcan and Earth started what would become the Federation.
@Spectual1 "founding the precursor to the Federation, called the Coalition of Planets, a year later. Other species soon joined: the Denobulans, the Rigelians, the Coridanites, and several others. (ENT: "Demons") Over the next several years, the ties between the members of the Coalition strengthened and became more structured, until, finally, in 2161, the Coalition became the Federation. (ENT: "These Are the Voyages...")"
@ATAlun Actually This formed the UFP because Trip never died in the book "The Good That Men Do" Trip's death was faked so that he could infiltrate the romulan empire and sabotage their research into micro-singularities. At the same time the actual charter of the UFP was being signed on earth the reason that it didnt come up in any of the shows was because it wasnt declassified until 2503 or some year like that when Jake Sisko is an old man
@Spectual1, you know it reminds me of how NATO was origionally created. It was the U.S. and most of Europe unifying against China and the Soviet Union
@Spectual1 But if you actually payed attention to the show, Daniels told Archer this is the moment that triggers the creation of the Federation. Watch Shockwave part 2 and you'll see that ATAlun is correct.
@ATAlun - But, it ended before it's time. Just like TOS. There could have been more seasons and episodes. Such as the Earth/Romulan war which was the catalyst to the formation of the Federation.
I completely agree with davetame1000. It was odd having such a vocal theme, but at least the lyrics fit to an extent, and the tone of the music was fine in the first two seasons, not so upbeat and perky, but rather more strong and declamatory.
Enterprise gets a bad rap, but I definitely think it was a step foward from DS9- Paramount changed it to try to make it appeal to a new "hip' audience. A good idea, but the way they did it weakened what could have been a strong still-running show.
I think the only reason Enterprise was ended is because of the terrible intro. If they did the traditional Star Trek intro I guarantee it would of lasted longer.
The whole reason that they had the TNG Star Trek on the final episode was to tie in the events of the Enterprise series with the rest of Trek, since most fans didn't like the events and story lines of the show.
And considering that I have never made a film like this, I think its great. And I have no idea about the pixels. haha!
It was poor. The important aspect was showing Archer actually doing it. Not showing the build up to it. Who cares about some random episode of TNG when you're starting the begining of Trek? This is pretty clearly meant to end the whole thing... and it fails to do that properly.
Please comment if you have any suggestions/compliments ;) as this is my first video. Not sure what happened with the misplaced pixels, so if anyone has an insight into that...
To boldly go alright........straight to cancellation.

But, Later in the DS9 Trials and Tribblations episode, the man from temporal investigations corrects his partner stating there were six Enterprises.

I never really watched Enterprise. but watching that, it would have made more sense for them to link it to the enterprise E rather than D.

5 FEDERATION SHIPS you know the NX-01 was not a federation ship. Just pointing that one out.

Uhm, I haven´t looked at that way... it belongs to United Earth but not the Federation... Uhmn, pretty interesting

darthdude is correct, the Nx-01 class ship named enterprise belongs to the "united nations of earth"

The alliance created here was for mutual protection against the romulan threat.
