when i was hit while crossing the intersection (i had the green light) the first question the insurance company asked was if I made sure no cars were running the light across from me. I said umm I guess I didnt.. they cited me at fault for not proceding with caution.
@vidproject sounds like your a victim of the insurance companies, they also got me a few years ago with one of those similar questions, i was only trying to be honest about the situation, and they spun what said into something else and it ended up being my fault, sorry for your luck man

I learned that if I was going down the road and I had a green light and was hit when the insurance company asked if I checked the intersection I would say yes I scanned either direction for traffic as I was proceeding with caution.
Pretty cut and dry...Cop has green light...kid has red light...normally you stop for the red light...I would say that is a failure on the part of the kid to stop...Traffic school for you....

at 1:08 and 1:09, it was clearly obvious that the car was not going to stop at the light and the police offier could've and/or should've noticed that and avoided a collision...IMHO.
