I didn't reserve this game at my local Gamestop because if you do you get the bonus soundtrack with it. I asked the clerk if she could just let me have it since not a lot of folks reserved it. She was reluctant to give me it to me at first, but since they had a lot of copies to rid of she gave it to me. I was all teary eyed and she finally gave it to me. So happy!

I also forgot to mention in the begining when Sato found his "uncle's" letter and after it a monster appeared and said something like"You dont need to know who I am" Like..wtf....then I thought like any other good game have AFTER you beat it he would tell few hints who he is. Again No.

@TheEpicSpammers Forgot to mention it. Those who had the project which I think was 4 (with the singer) said that they rushed the game and could have done so much more to the ending and actually develope the character. WHICH THEY DID NONE...Wait I lied! The merchant was actually pretty good!

First he had no backstory and everyone wants to know more about him. Then you forget about him for a second then in the middle of the game you have a moment with him and learn about him. What a Twist I said.

Story was good, if cheesy at first. Controls take some getting used to...ambience and storyline are DEFINITELY the main focus. Could get scary at times too :3....

The feeling of perpetual loneliness was somewhat impeded with the constant stream of characters, but not too heavily. I felt really sad after...well, that part before the Fun Park, I don't wanna spoil anything.

Overall good, but that gameplay needed work....a lot of work. Maybe they could re-do it and re-release it?

I really love this game. It had pretty much everything; good story, characters that are easy to follow and hard to read into, graphics are excepitionally good, even when compared to the 360.

The only thing I didn't like was the linearity and how little there was to do in the game. In other words, it was way too short and could have been a bit longer, but I still liked it.

It was like watching an interactive anime ^^

i thought the game was rather good overall, where i live there isn;t many good games and Fragile Dreams is a very good game... but you are right the turning is weird at first but after you get the hang of it, it's rather simple and i know the fighting was a bit bland but still i think it's better than a lot of other games i've played...

IMO, the game had an incrdibly awesome OST, one of the best OSTS tbh, the story and atmosphere where perfect and all, the only flaw.... was the gameplay, not only it was kinda simple and unoriginal to some extent, but it felt slow when moving through the menus, specially when u want to change items, some weapons are kinda useless or slow, and it's a very frustrating thing when u have to go back to find the star, and other items. I feel they could've done SO much more with this concept.

I agree. The gameplay most definitely isn't Fragile Dreams' strong point. Which is why it gets so many bad reviews. It would be better if turning wasn't bad. I had some problems turning due to having to move the flashlight if I wanted to turn around. And fighting is pretty bland. I don't like the random weapon break system. There are so many times my katana broke really fast. But I'm fine with games with bad gameplay. I liked collecting Memory Items, and I really liked the characters.

@funkyfairyqq The gameplay can be a little off putting, and some of the enemies are completely broken or are put in terrible locations (androids, I'm looking at you all) but if you can put up with weapon breaks, backtracking by the bucket load and an unusual control system, buy it now. The soundtrack is consistantly excellent, the art work is gorgeous, and the plot is unusual if nothing else. It's a flawed but lovely game, worth it for the experience and to get Rising Star to release more.
