@wadejoseyishere I think he may have just used a normal automatic filter, then used the track automation to set it from filtered to clean. At least thats what i do! Also, good cover

@The3penguins123 Logic 9 hands down, if you're recording audio Reason is useless. Logic does everything Reason will do... this video kinda proves it because Adam Young used Reason for the original! Thing is to record vocals he had to use Pro Tools as well. Logic does both sequencing and recording in one package. GRAB IT.

You said it best. I used to run a pro tools set up with reason and record. it was usless and hogged so much CPU.. NOw i have logic, and an m audio pro fire 2626 interface. Best investment ever. And the Audio units don't rape my CPU space like the VSTs did.

@Bmwprod Yes and no. The automatic mode is easy as long as you know what key you're in, but to use the manual graph you have to know the notes of the vocal melody. Hope that helps xx

Hey man great job!! So much more in depth than my version, very smooth. The one thing I would recommend is watch the clipping! Holy cow, turn down the main level, there was a lot of distortion. You can see it especially from 1:48 to about 2:23. Other than that very very good job! The vocals were awesome too.

Strangely I think the clipping happened when I imported it into iMovie to put the video with the sound... the bounced track doesn't clip at all... there are three limiters very carefully set up!

I'd love to see some of your stuff done in Logic if there's any kicking around?

@sheps145 LOL, there's no clipping, liquid gordon is full of crap. I didn't see that top light turn on once, and you can forget about actually hearing it clip. People love to pretend like they know what's up.
