@emxra7med Thank you very much :D I have a huge catalogue of songs that ive written that im very proud of, i sometimes put the odd one on YouTube, but apart from a song called Only You And Me, everything else ive written that means anything to me is still under lock and key in the Rhodes vault. Record companies kind of give me the creeps.

My man, this is an incredible performance. There are so many people out there who play notes and sing the words but but none that I have seen who play with such feel, beautiful! You actually resemble Jon when you play these songs, just adds to the overall mood. Of course, my favorite part of these vids besides your insane vocals and guitar skills are the hilarious figurines in the background (nice Phillips flat screen too). or maybe it was the production. i do stand by the lack of passion comment tho. perhaps passion is the wrong word; dynamics is what i was really suggesting. the performance was just too same level in terms of dynamics. i do get that you were going for resignation (it works well in the end but only in the end), but the song only really shines for me when it is either bluesier or has greater shifts in dynamics.

@maqsimillion Im not sure where you are coming from.In terms of production, there is no production, its simple voice and guitar. Im really not sure what you would expect to hear from a simple interpretation in terms of dynamics. I think i hold off in the verses and then lift in the chorus and beyond that, there isnt much else to it. I stand by the cover and am very happy with the interpretation,if you hear my original version, i accept that was misjudged but this has all the right ingredients.

ok, we will agree to disagree. i was however wrong about it now working as a spare arrangement. take a look at this version by the boys on youtube (cant seem to be able to write in the link). even they did however use two voices for the chorus.the chordal arrangement u used dudnt work for me.

@maqsimillion I disagree. I think theres enough passion in there. This is a sad song and the performance has to be a mixture of restraint and emotion. The voice escalates in volume as you approach the chorus anyway as its pushing upwards. Jon Bon Jovi has always said, the songs have to work as acoustic renditions. I think This Aint really works well played on one acoustic due to the beautiful chords changes, lots of majors to minors. G-Gm F-Fm. I'll only jump in an disagree if i feel strongly.

Woah, this is the first video I've ever watched of you but you absolutely made me a fan of you by this one, you have such a lovely voice to listen to. The only things I didn't like very much about the sound are the echoes, if you turned off the echo thing it would completely sound acoustic - and then it would have been perfect.
