i only say the true...

they totaly forgot what made sc game so popular (a great solo mode)and the emblematic characters

aside from that :

simplified characters/styles,removed stance

made only for aggressiv player,encourage spamming because of the new guard system

its a true paradise for spammer,

they fucked sc gameplay and story for good

The 'new guard system' incorporates Just guards which give large frame advantages over enemies and allow you to counter-attack even when enemies are mid flow.

 Also I've beaten countless spammers so no its not their paradise. Soul Calibur's story has always been pretty crap, so don't even go there.

@tadpolejovian No, Siegfried and nightmare are part of the same person. Nightmare is just Siegfried after he was corrupted by souledge. But after soulcaliber 2 or 3 nightmare became free of Siegfried and is now his own entity. At least im pretty sure thats what it is.

@cetanu655 You are right. Soul Edge made Siegfried become Nightmare and after Nightmare defeated Inferno in 2, Siegfried was freed from Nightmare's control. Although, Nightmare is just a name given to the person who is the true wielder of Soul Edge.

It was because Raphael was defeated by Nightmare, Siegfried tried to free himself from Nightmare and whilst Siegfriend & Nightmare were battling minds, Raphael pierced Soul Edge which allowed Siegfried to free his mind and body from Inferno's grasp.

I dunno why SC wiki they say that the new Nightmare is the "a new being" or the "son" of Inferno-Nightmare. Nightmare 1 (SC 1-2) was Inferno possessing Siegfried, Nightmare 2 (SC III-IV) was Inferno possessing Siegfried's armor, and Nightmare 3 (SCV's Nightmare) is Inferno possessing some poor sap and making him use Siegfried's fighting style. It's just Inferno swapping bodies.
