That happened to me too. Expresso fell into the pit and the Klaptrap's colors were inverted. Pink on the outside and blue on the inside. Though, this was years ago and I can't remember EXACTLY how it happened.

This happened to me in Orang-Utan Gang, except it was a Klaptrap that was oddly colored. Interestingly enough, I also was using Expresso and got hit.
