@Rebornneo I have yet to see Rainbow Dash break the sound barrier without trying; the rainbow is completely cosmetic, and Sonic has shown that he's capable of going faster than Rainbow Dash many times in the past. @CherryRockyx64 Sonic is faster btw, anyone who says otherwise is ignorant

@Electricpraise777 You obviously haven't seen the calculations behind the Sonic Rainboom. It's Mach 5 minimum, and then she seems to double her speed when she performs it.

I don't know who would win, but it would be one heckuva race.

@MrGBH I have actually, but the real calculations say that the Sonic Rainboom is about 1,230 mph, which is relatively less than mach 2, and that's after her speed has doubled. Sonic moves at about 1,300 mph on average based on his recorded speed in video games. However his fastest recorded speed (without the Chaos Emeralds) was around 3,900 mph, well over mach 5. There's no guarantee who would win in a race, but the fact is that Sonic has reached speeds that surpass the Sonic Rainboom

But really, Lauren Faust (and her hardworking team) made something she loved and was passionate about, and the producers let her. When a talented artist cares that much about what they're making, it'll be charming enough to make others love it, too.
