optifine hd_c has an option that fixes the fog creeping in on you closer to bedrock which causes the whole "lights dont work underground" thing, and its compatible with all the mods you use so long as you remove the yz.class.

Dude! I'm only 6 minutes in and I'm already pulling my hair. First you're looking for diamonds, why not try a neat new toy from EE called the divining rod? Once you have diamonds, the divining rod is fairly pointless. Second you need to mow the tall grass around your rubber tree saplings so they will grow.

Direwolf i was reading on the EE wiki about red matter furnaces and they double the output of ore smelted in them.That combined with the macerator.Think of the surplus of iron ingots you will have when you can make one of those.

Hey Direwolf....did you realize IC2 now has an electric tree tap? I went to the wiki because I couldn't remember how to turn on Lossless mode on my wrench and happened to notice the recipe for an electric tree tap. Not sure when that got added but it works wonderfully (but looks EXACTLY like the electric wrench atm.

Hey direwolf i have dust just watching your entire season 2 in the last few days and i have a question. I have seen you make stiks about a 100 times and always onely about 4-16 of them, why don't you simply make a full stack of sticks and have it in your inventory so at you dont have to craft them so often?

@StarFang52 He's constantly leaving small partial stacks of sticks, torches, covers, and whatnot everywhere, even with the sorting features of Convenient Inventory, and thus crafting more of what he already has. Maybe a third of the time he already had the sticks or covers he needed, he just couldn't see them in his alchemy bag. So he just made more, because once he got EE and his quarries going resources were never a problem.

I think Direwolf just needs practice identifying shapes and colors.

You can make glowstone dust by mixing 4 gold dust with 5 redstone. It's a waste of gold, but if you haven't found diamonds or lava to get obsidian, then it might be worth the cost.

Direwolf I'm pretty sure you have some bones to make bone meal with, and you have a need for rubber. So if you plant the trees and bone meal them= quick rubber. Also, if you plant the trees diagonally from each other they're easier to harvest.

Direwolf you should make a divining rod to find diamonds with, the mk1 version just uses green covalance dust that only takes 8 cobble and a charcoal with a stick!
