@aplatt65 Right now, Pearce isn't in very good form. He's a good player with great potential to do great things, but at the moment, he'll need to get himself to a better club if he wants to start doing things on the national team stage.

He's got good feet, attacking prowess, offensive and defensive technical and tactical awareness and ability for a full back. His recovery speed is excellent and he's a more natural left full back than Bornstein, Castillo, Beasley and Bocanegra. I remember when Kenny Cooper scored his first national team goal how Heath Pearce intercepted the ball from a Denmark pass and then played an inch-perfect pass to Cooper who broke with speed and scored. Great player, just out of form at the moment.

Its sad that he's fallen out of form after having such a good 2008. Demoted to the reserves. It's just a shame. He should come back to the MLS.
