I love how this theme basically goes through what Carl's emotional cycle must be during the showdown. The heavy start, the adrenaline, the "oh crap" of the moment. Then a slower string melody. The hesitation. Perhaps remembering less miserable times of his father. And then it picks up again as he steels himself and attacks. Daughter clashes with mother, as the father fights back....
... of course, I'm also a Carl main who's hyped for Relius so maybe I'm being a little analytical here :P
I gotta say im feelin it. I was kinda worried cuz it wasnt as fast paced as most of the other songs, but i like it. It hits hard just like the confrontation would to Carl.
