You need to bend the "coin" inside out and it will warm your hands. To return to its original form, just put it in hot water for a couple of hours. It's actually pretty cool in the winter :)

Phil that heart with the "coin" in it is called a snap heating pad, you are supposed to put them in hot water for a while and remove them, then you can snap the little coin like thing inside and it makes them even hotter. They are used for pain relief and are quick and easy to use. It would probably work well on your back when you are relaxing or w/e. :)
