I seen this on my way to work... me and the van driver were like half a mile away. First time i ever seen a tornado other than TV. Pretty wicked up close, wishin i had a camera phone then...
The reason why this video is better quality than standard video is because I filmed it in progressive recording mode, which films at 25 fps instead of 50 interlaced half-fps, thus exposure time of each frame is longer, therefore the colours are more saturated.

I saw no other chasers, they seem to have been at another target area, some arrived later on and saw it from a bigger distance, but it looks like we ( I was chasing with Gene Moore) were the closest and probably got the best pix, you can see more images on my blog klipsi dot com

There were other chasers out there because our group also saw the storm. Unfortunately we were much farther away. Nice video!!

Thunderhead Corso and I saw it from about 20 miles to it's east until we got to within 5 miles of it before it lifted. Amazing visibility out there.
