  • Im sorry, but you didn't make this yourself. this is the eighth doctors starting in the movie.

  • @ChrisKenny83 Duh....

  • Doctor Who is just Doctor who. Just go with it.

  • is there an actual episode of the time war or was it never made

  • Nope, this looks better

  • (the time war exists among ALL the DWs, plus the spin-offs, from the 60s to today.)

    GALLIFREY Radio Series - SEASON 4;

GALLIFREY REBORN Written by Gary Hopkins,

GALLIFREY DISASSEMBLED Written by Justin Richards,

GALLIFREY ANNIHILATION Written by Scott Handcock & Gary Russell,

GALLIFREY ETERNAL Written by David Wise,

  • @qeebo As said so many times by Russel T Davies - he didnt want and will not include any other concepts of what happened in the Time war unless expressed within one of his episodes between 2005-09 , sure he included the origin of the war in the 2005 annual which was to do with moments from the classic series , but that was it - nothing else ever happened , he wanted fans to imagine what the time war would have been like , not to see it interpreted for them

  • Russel T Davies' vision of Doctor Who is DONE, unless he writes a novel, or BBC or bigfinish hire him.

  • @qeebo. I was merely pointing out that if you want to "hear" the events of the Time War (LoL-almost wrote clone wars^^) you have to buy the audio at bigfinish(dot) com Gallifrey the 4th season of the Galifrey Series featuring Romana.

  • @qeebo Look please understand - the point is anything not written by Rusell T Davies about the Time War ISNT canon - Russel came up with the idea of the Time War , he said The Doctor that survived it was the 9th Doctor, meaning the Eigth Doctor may never have been involved , and that the reason Ecclestons Doctor had recently regenerated in "Rose" was of a completely different reason.. you wernt merely pointing out you were blasting it in captial letters ;)

  • Yes, please, Mr. Moffat, write a Time War story. <3

  • @thelmperialElite73 I know what you mean, but I do like Matt smith when incarnating the doctor, but not when he is being interviewed and all that, when he isn't playing the doctor paticulaly I can't stand him

  • the americans were gonna do the eigth doctor a series, and his last season was meant to be the time war. and his regeneration to christopher eccleston. You know, i bet those are all made and they are just a few of the lost seasons of Doctor Who. I want more Paul Mcgann

  • @kylephantom4 they might have mcgann in the 50th anniversery special

  • @kylephantom4

The Time War was the Idea of Russell T. Davis, I very much doubt the 8th Doctors series planed that far ahead, and as much as I would have liked that they filmed some of the series, they didn't, as the movie was a pilot episode, and because it tanked in America, no more episodes were made, but if you want more Mcgann check out the radio plays.

  • @kylephantom4 no they never made any more 8th doctor episodes because the movie didn't get good enough ratings in america :(

  • it's moffat, not moffet!

  • I did like the Doctor Who Movie with Paul McGann. He played very well as the Doctor, in his look like early 19th century clothes. Why doesn't he come back and make more. He could of been a well known Doctor rather than this Matt Smith now, but I am still dying to see how Matt Smith is able to play the Doctor

  • @TheImperialElite73

Honestly? The movie was a bit too cheap. Surely, McGann was an awesome Doctor, but still the movie was directed poorly. It'd be well appreciated if they tied up the loose ends about the time war, like, since when did Rassilon replace Romana as the president of Gallifrey, since when did he ever come back, did all the other "good" time lords like Drax, Romana, the Inquisitor and so on too support the "End of Time" scenario, or did they simply get wiped out?

  • @ProtonFilms Romana has been implied in several media to have either been deposed or died during the Time War. Davies writes that she was Lady President before the War began and negotiated with the Daleks. As for Drax and the Inqusitor (whose name is Darkel) who knows? But Darkel became evil in the Gallifrey Audios, so that wouldn't surprise me. And Rassilon was immortal, so the Time Lords simply resurrected him. They could bring back the dead as well. They did it for the Master, after all.

  • @Kaagh178 I still don't believe that all the renegade Time Lords just vanished.

  • @ProtonFilms Probably not. I think we'll see Romana and the Rani again some time in the future. I'd like Drax to come back again, but we haven't seen him since Tom Baker's 'The Armageddon Factor'. The Master will also find some way (he always does) to escape from the last day of the Time War and return to the Universe. And maybe he'll bring Rassilon and all the other Time Lords back with him.

  • @Kaagh178

In your dreams asshole, The Master is gone for good this time

  • @LolGuy619 Ermm...John Simm has stated he will immediately reprise his role if offered by head writer of Doctor Who Steven Moffat ;)

  • @LolGuy619 Wow. Mature. If u knew anything about Doctor Who, you'd know the Master never dies. He always comes back. Always. Both John Simm and Steven Moffat have talked about his return. Now please bugger off and do your research.

  • @Kaagh178

Wrong! They Killed him off for good this time you asshole

He keeps returning, so people get sick of him

so now he is DEAD FOR GOOD

  • @LolGuy619 Yawn. You're never gonna get it, are you? I'm tired of arguing with you. Think what you want. Oh and BTW, everyone loves the Master. He's the Doctor's archenemy and more than a match for him. I severely doubt they'll get rid of him for a long time. Its the Daleks people get tired of, that's why Moffat retired them for a year. So cease trolling and leave me alone.

  • @Kaagh178

Your the one not getting it, accept the facts! the master is DEAD he was sent into the time war and he attacked rassilon so he would probably been deleted form time by his glove!

  • @LolGuy619 You're right in saying that the Master was sent back to the last day of the Time War, but that by no means entails he's gone for good. Last time we saw him, he'd injured Rassilon quite badly, so I don't think he'd have had much of a chance to use his Gauntlet on him. Plus, wasn't the Master apparently stone dead after Lucy Saxon shot him? He always finds a way to return. Back in stories like 'Castrovalva', 'Survival' and 'The Movie' he was thought a goner, but still he came back.

  • @Kaagh178

Difference is the time war is more powerful than a woman with a gun, It was the last day of the time war

soon after they were sent back gallifrey would be destroyed, the doctor even states the timelords could not have ever survived it

  • @LolGuy619 Soon after, yeah. The same day in fact. But they had some time to spare. Enough time I reckon to use the Master to break out. How, I don't know. But rest assured, they'll find a way. Good or evil intentions aside, they're crafty, the Time Lords.

  • @Kaagh178

I like your faith but the chances are low dude... also if you watch it the master may have died whilst Firing those bolts at Rassilon, Seeing as it showed the energy electrifying him

  • @LolGuy619 ´How can you use facts and probability in the same sentence? Get your shit together.

  • @TheCorreon Oh for fuck sake, Your ridiculous. Just go, And kill yourself. Nobody Cares, Prickhead

  • Comment removed

  • @dalekcaan39: Yeah, but that was set before the Time-War. People want to see the Time-War now.

  • ohh thanks

  • Is timelords blood red?

  • yeah - watch the doctors daughter

  • Because the drumming is based on the beat in the theme tune.

  • yup.

  • the tune is actually from the 8th doctor who audio title sequeuence

  • people it is from a different series of doctor who

  • Very nicely done! I think I've heard it before but I can't place it. I like how you kept it short, simple, and unconvoluted with it's original sources, like many other videos I've seen (IE, "The Empty Child by Steven Moffat" when trying to lengthen a vortex scene... you took effort, weren't lazy!)

    Thank you!

  • Where did you get this song?

  • the doctor who wav archive

  • The red logo looks awesome!

  • no s71t

"Using the latest Eighth doctor theme tune (aka the big finish one) *i* have created what *may* look like a *possible* time war opening for the Eighth doctor and his latest companion"
