My criticism comes not from his desire to do something he loves as a career, but that he doesn't deserve millions of dollars to sing the way he does. @gwhmnd disagreed actually. i have no problem with stapp, but i thought his first solo album was a disaster. the production is subpar, and the band is fairly average. on the other hand, i guess it was supposed to showcase more of his vocals than the rest of the band, hence "solo" album. but still, the songs are not that great in my opinion. the reason i think alter bridge got it right is because they actually evolved their sound to be alter bridge instead of creed-scott stapp+myles kennedy.
