Now that Ebonite shut down hammers own plan and everything is being made trew ebonite's plant they are not quality balls my Burn i bowled maybe 30 games with and the cover started to crack... my Jigsaw bowled 40 games with and the cover was burnt up... @SuburbAllied no i said that I never even mentioned elite balls ever. There stuff is expensive and most of their stuff is for the heaviest oil patterns so its like useless. And i agree with you with the cell i didnt like it either. I prefer hammer and C300 however I still LOVE my Ebonite ONE lol

@pmbazman15 Red Alien is for normal Heavy oil patter, and it's pretty good when you're first man up on the lanes :P Ebonite's The One has without doubt the best commercial for that particular ball (as well as for The Big One) :D

@SuburbAllied Hmm if I hadda choose just a couple of my favorites I would have to say from Hammer I love the Jigsaw, The Nasty and my very old cherry vibe. But I still havta say the Black widow solid was their best ball. From C300 The pure swing is a Monster, the bedlam is good but my all time fav from them is the original Rival and the perfect rival. My fav lineup to use is Pureswing, Bedlam, Jigsaw Corner, Plague, Cherryvibe, and of course the handy Maxim lol HBU

wes is jus making his shots simple by throwing e resurgence fast and hard on the fresh oil so tat the speed would prevent the ball from going high.Can tell that probably this ball is drilled for length and little arcing backend.he did change to a rival later in the match on the same line up.4th frame showed that this ball is actually little bit too stronger for the lane if straighter and so as 5th frame and eventually he went high in e 7th frame.

I'm just wondering why Malott would use the Columbia Resurgence for this oil pattern. I mean he performed very well, but you would think that this ball is way too strong for a short pattern like the Cheetah.

you can use any ball you want, just make the proper surface adjustment. wes drilled the ball for length and shined it up properly for this pattern

Well, Malott always has the pin above the fingers and you can see @ 1'' 40' the ball is still dull.

woops i thought it was shined. the dull mellows out the reaction on the backend so it doesnt overreact and go through the nose. pin above the fingers is a popular length drilling for both power and finesse bowlers

the cheetah may be a short pattern, but it has the highest volume of oil.the ball won't hook until the end of that pattern. also, when you throw the ball as hard as wes, the ball will never hook too much.
