As for the 'convergence of dates', it only APPEARS this is the case because these no fly zones are TEMPORARY....once they clear they drop from the list. Because of this the majority appear to be centered on dates in close proximity to today's date.

I know that Beale AFB is a Space & Missile base with the Global Hawk drones. Grand Forks AFB is a tanker and air refueling base. Corpus Christie is a Navy/AF pilot training base. And I forget what Andersen AFB does in the middle of the Pacific--it's a major stopping point to refuel.

Those types of NOTAMS are for security. The Hazards NOTAMS you see could be caused by a lot of different things. Be it Air Force training to weather balloons, anything that could cause a hazard to a pilot and his aircraft.

When you fly VFR 1200 you might say.. get close to a flooded nuke plant or a burned up refinery or a laser started texas brushfire lol. But when your assigned they will come on and tell you to maintain alt so you won't be "dipping" low. If you get off that expect to get orders then interecepted or even shot down.
I have taken pilot training and have flown quite a bit in the cockpit, as well as have experience filing flight plans and making them as well. I would concur with other pilots that this is pretty normal. Those look to be military training restriction blocks hence the reason for specific squawk codes. There is no reason to be alarmed and I don't think that there is a conspiracy here.
It a no fly zone in the gulf. Just saying we have seen missles fired from that area in that past on our local news people photographing non scheduled missile launches. @Montagraph All of those states you mentioned have heavy military presence. As you know Alex Jones said his military contacts are telling him that several units have been given marching orders to Libya. I think it's more than that. Sounds to me like escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
Corpus is not unusual cause there is bases there and training ops. Guam airspace is military controlled anyway for the most part, it's a base that just happens to have some people living on it. I don't think this is anything other than a big wig or some exercises. Than again Corpus is one of our nations critical refinery rows.

@Montagraph I don't know did some searching on stuff didn't find anything. This temp restriction seems to be banning "free flying VFR general". If your VFR you can kinda just put radio on 1200 then fly anywhere unrestricted if weather is clear. In this rule you have to contact houston control and they will say switch to "such and such" channel on radio, at that point they can track you with radar and a little bleep that come out from radio and also contact you for a diversion.
@Montagraph well i just got done talking to a family member and he says that maybe its two things. 1)corpus Texas is a training facility and they ar eon a deadline to be trained by July 1st.for the middle east episode...they are out by September that's one.2) we ar e also under the pretense of terrorist blowing up nuclear facilities. are these no fly zones near any nuclear power plants? 3) there is also the radiation issue and it is pretty dire in some areas more than others
@lisapratt1 Flour Bluff is where the training takes place, its on the Island. And there is no restrictions except around the airfield in which they land and take off at. This restricted area is in the bay I believe.

Something strange here the past two days. Canyon Lake, Texas. Internet in and out, intermittent. Neighbors having same problem. Seems wi-fi is the problem, but still in & out. Neighbors uses CB radio and has big ass antenna on his house. He comes over and asks if I am broadcasting. He is so certain that I am, I let him come in and look around. He says that there is a frequency being emitted between his & my house.
@MsJennsky Canyon lake is run and operated by the US Army CE. They do a lot of exercises and your in the middle of major bases. A lot of peoples internet get disconnected nowdays but it's not just your area.
@vashguud Army Core of Engineers manages the dam. I spend much time there, no exercises. I live on the northside of the lake, no military bases. Closest is San Antonio, more than an hours drive away.

@reginald58 yea it just makes it easier for them to shoot you down. When you fly VFR 1200 you might say.. get close to a flooded nuke plant or a burned up refinery or a laser started texas brushfire lol. But when your assigned they will come on and tell you to maintain alt so you won't be "dipping" low. If you get off that expect to get orders then interecepted or even shot down.

I have taken pilot training and have flown quite a bit in the cockpit, as well as have experience filing flight plans and making them as well. I would concur with other pilots that this is pretty normal. Those look to be military training restriction blocks hence the reason for specific squawk codes. There is no reason to be alarmed and I don't think that there is a conspiracy here.

Corpus is not unusual cause there is bases there and training ops. Guam airspace is military controlled anyway for the most part, it's a base that just happens to have some people living on it. I don't think this is anything other than a big wig or some exercises. Than again Corpus is one of our nations critical refinery rows.

@Montagraph I don't know did some searching on stuff didn't find anything. This temp restriction seems to be banning "free flying VFR general". If your VFR you can kinda just put radio on 1200 then fly anywhere unrestricted if weather is clear. In this rule you have to contact houston control and they will say switch to "such and such" channel on radio, at that point they can track you with radar and a little bleep that come out from radio and also contact you for a diversion.

@Montagraph well i just got done talking to a family member and he says that maybe its two things. 1)corpus Texas is a training facility and they ar eon a deadline to be trained by July 1st.for the middle east episode...they are out by September that's one.2) we ar e also under the pretense of terrorist blowing up nuclear facilities. are these no fly zones near any nuclear power plants? 3) there is also the radiation issue and it is pretty dire in some areas more than others

@lisapratt1 Flour Bluff is where the training takes place, its on the Island. And there is no restrictions except around the airfield in which they land and take off at. This restricted area is in the bay I believe.

Something strange here the past two days. Canyon Lake, Texas. Internet in and out, intermittent. Neighbors having same problem. Seems wi-fi is the problem, but still in & out. Neighbors uses CB radio and has big ass antenna on his house. He comes over and asks if I am broadcasting. He is so certain that I am, I let him come in and look around. He says that there is a frequency being emitted between his & my house.

@MsJennsky Canyon lake is run and operated by the US Army CE. They do a lot of exercises and your in the middle of major bases. A lot of peoples internet get disconnected nowdays but it's not just your area.
