Finally found it! The song was in the back of my head since many years. It is from the world famous musical "Cats".

Wonderful melody and this piano performer is doing a fantastic job - however the title should be corrected as it is not Yanni. Easy to be mistaken thoug .... : )

It is not Yanni playing, it's Lars Roos, a Swedish pianist who lives in usa now. I love Yanni's music and Lars Roos also so I can hear the difference. The song is really nice!

Actually the music is "Memory" from the 1981 musical, "Cats", and was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. However, this was so artistically done and beautiful that I gave it 5 stars even if paffy38 did trick me into looking at it. Thanks, Paffy, I'm glad I didn't miss this. :)

This song is taken from the musical Cats, playing on broadway in NY. It has not been composed by Yanni, but rather by Andrew Lloyd Weber, based on T. S. Eliot's poem. I believe this version must be played by Yanni. Look for "Cats - memories" and you will find the original version.
