have you measured the powder to see if it comes out all to be what you measured it for , ever though tto put a motor on that nice job looking to getting into reloading my own shells.
You set the weight on the dillon powder thrower. Dillon are very accurate throwing powder. I have actually fitted a Possness Motor to this press now and also added a webcam attached to my laptop focused into the case to keep an eye on the charge. Stay tuned for new video.
Not too hard, I just done a strip down to clean the entire press yesterday and I really thought the changing of cals would be hard, but it aint. Not as fast as the 650 but not too far behind the 650.
Sorry Guys for the late replies, I wonder if someone can tell me why this shit youtube will not let me reply to all who are asking questions.......when I reply error reading is "ERROR.TRY AGAIN" Any suggestions??
I'm really looking forward to getting 3 of these setups. One for rifle, one for pistol both motorized and one manual for odd calibers and limited runs. Oh boy, Oh boy goody!
What is the point of human interaction, I mean if they have gone this far with it doing everything for you, why not motorized? takes the thrill out of the chase. The poor guy must have one arm bigger than the other and people getting the wrong idea.
@9Iock My guess would be to ensure that you are watching and paying attention. When you're messing with primers and gun powder, I don't think it's a good idea to have a setup you could walk away from. Also, you get a lot of "feedback" from the feel through the handle. Another point would be for it to be motorized, it would have to be electric, or gas operated. Electric sparks, and fuel with gun powder...NOT a good combination!
Hello mate where did you get that from? I know Dillon Australia has them but I have been told only for 38 super/9mm. I live in Australia too and have a 650 I want to put a bullet feeder on.
What is the capacity of the primer feed? how often do you have to stop to refill that or can you fill it like the bullet feed and the case feed and let fly?
Gidday, capacity is 100 primers. You do not want any more sue to the safety of the machine. I have seen ppl blow up primer feeds on a 650 because they crushed a primer. Thats the reason why 100 is the max. I refill the primers as fast as I reload. So I am refilling every 3-4 mins.......but I have 10 primer pickup tubes loaded at the ready so its a matter of grabing the next tube and filling the primer hopper.
Dude... I'm in love. I currently reload on a Dillon 550B, and I have to load each case and each bullet by hand. I don't want to get the 550B casefeeder, it's an afterthought. I'm going to either get a 650 with casefeeder, or jump straight to this badboy. Your setup is WAY cool !
Do you know of any bullet feeder avaliable here in Australia that will feed .22 and.30 rifle bullets. Im trying to rig up something like this on my Dilln 650.
@taintsniffer69 Mate in down under we very rarely use military brass so no there is no swaging as I took it off. The seating die for the feeder replaces the powder check system. I tell ya these just dam work. The one you see in the vid is an older version so he has updated the feeder. Its no longer KISS its Mr Bullet feeder, if you speak with Rick, tell him I sent you via Youtube cheers.
@italianguns nope looks like no. Search Mr Bullet Feeder (Ex KISS) and drop Rick an email if your interested in one. US$550 I believe they are, dunno about 12g.....tell Rick I sent you via youtube cheers.
I'm exactly on the same page as A62501, good video. I know I'll be spending the night dreaming of a 45 ACP setup, and the day trying to figure out how to get the wife to approve the purchase.
Wow....thank you for convincing me to buy the 1050 not just a 650...:)

Most people think about the price for the setup,
I rather think about the patience you needed to set this all up and running.. all the setting and checking.

If you want to reload shotgun shells Google MEC Reloaders. I have a 600 Jr. that works wonderfully, but they also have progressive presses as well.
