WOW> this is soooooo freakin great to see. I never got to see them back then and I wish I had but wherever I was at the time they were always somewhere else. This should show the kiddies how we used to do it. heh heh heh. thanks for posting.
I followed Triumph way back in the 80s. OMG allied forces should have been Americas theme song through out the past decade. Unfortunely i never saw them live, and i under stand now why Triumph never survived past the 90,s and fell off into obscurity since then, No succesfull rock band has a lead singer playing percussion. They were doomed from the start. Rock on forever triumph.!!!!
I always wonder why Triumph didn't go further. Perhaps someone can answer this. I thought they had the possibly to be a world class band. (Same thought on April Wine).
@Ionizap I think it have something to do w/ Rik leaving the band...plus they were freaking underrated...I rather Triumph over Rush or any other band alike...Rik and Gil are virtuosos...
freekin' GREAT version....almost sounds too good to be live. Emmett is a great guitarist......sometimes I think he's better than...dare I say this..Lifeson....now Rush fans, don't get yr panties in a bunch. I love Rush and saw them on the "All The Worlds A Stage" tour, so I know what I'm talkin' bout....either way, one can't go wrong, eh?!...thanks for sharing this GREAT music....LONG LIVE ROCK!!
