When your puttin move the cursor as far back is can go then youll be able to use a more natural swing on ten foot putts. Its because the cursor is at ten feet so naturally you have to go 100% to get the ball ten feet

I have played this on all systems before i bought mine, and i bought wii, theres nothing like it, ya chicks voice sucks but if you have any clue how to play these games, you will catch on really fast, not like this idiot just look at @ 8:37 107% when your trying to do 75% is this guy doing? He may be really good at golf, but this is a game. Nothing will be exact, but its pretty fucking close.. thanks EA, sorry for people who didn't buy this marvelous game because of this guy

this guy is soo horrible, him just sucking this bad makes the game look bad, if you watch your character just the same in ps3 of 360 when he gets to 50% its half way through your swing.. why does he change the putt range later but not when he's showing us how to putt?

This bloke simply hasn't spent long enough thinking about it. This game is a good golf game.

The putting is a little un natural at first, but I've got 7-8 23meter+ puts along with plenty of short puts. There's a 100% marker on the green, that's where a 100% swing will get you (unless it's uphill downhill)

Yeah, I've never really liked golf enough to play it but the game is brilliant. If you like the wii sports golf at all, then you will probably be happy with this.

I tink that the problem with you hitting the ball to far when u said u where hitting it 50% is try not to actaully swing the club to hard, try swinging it a bit more gently, maby that will make the shot shorter.

I just got the game and it plays Like i said before just adjust putt before shot and u will get that natual feel i got an eagle and birdie on 2nd and 3rd try dont ask about my 1st go lol

There has been a huge fuss made over the putting in this game. It took me probably 10 hours of play to really nail it, but once you do, it makes sense. It could have been done better, but it is actually very accurate. I think the game is excellent, 9 out of 10. Bring on the Motion+

50% swing - hard to do anyway though you didnt pull back at 50% when you was showing us I was shouting "thats not 50%" (pause at 4:13 look at your charactor thats not 50% is it) You just need to watch you charactor more and be gentle

Putting - lol you were using a 10ft putt why didnt you adjust it like when you was showing us the onine play at 7:18 you adjusted from a 10ft to a higher 20-30ft. This review seems a bit sketchy cause why didnt you change putt ft in the putting review part :P 10 ft put needs 100% power for it to go 10ft so you want natural feel just do what you did in the online part at 7:18 ;) when you adjusted

THANKYOU! Someone understands. It's really not that difficult. Obviously the reviewer doesn't understand the limitations of the Wii Remote in it's current form. You can't get 1:1 without the MotionPlus, plain and simple.

You need to learn how to play the game before doing a review. The putting was difficult the first round or two, but it works quite well after getting used to it. As for the half shots, you need to have softer hands just like in real life. Maybe you should learn to play golf in real life before trying to act like an expert.

I couldn't disagree any more with your review. This one is easily an 8.5 or better.

I played the PS3 demo and i felt the putting was much improved over 06,07,08. But i see the issues. I will avoid the wii version thanks to this. I agree the putting system in 04 was much more realistic, aim at a point then hit full power. in real life you dont have power settings. Aim and go. However in the ps3 09 i feel you can "feel" the puts very well. But thanks im avoiding the wii and getting the ps3.

This IS a great game. It's so new that all the people you are playing online have only had the game for a day! I played one guy who was doing awesome, par or birdie almost every hole.

Try playing the game for a few more hours before you do a review.

You need to learn how to use the put marker. It works great!. You can adjust the marker to the hole, then 100% power equals full power...... or....... you can leave it where it lies and put by adjusting your swing....your choice. Pretty versatile I would say.

For your driving, you just need a better feel. Practice man! This is not an arcade golf game, it's serious and it takes skill. I to over shot my first few games. But now I am doing way better.
