It's interesting, when you compare it to 1989, the energy is less now. However, the musicianship is just all-around better. That's what I see the current Bon Jovi as, a more mature, reserved version of their younger selves, and frankly, that's how a band SHOULD age.

No it's not that, it's just some people think that Jon's voice and his stage presence is not as good as it once was. Course, I think that's bulls***. Jon still sounds great and he owns the stage as soon as the band walks out on it.

Just look at any 1989 performance of this song on down to 87; He lost his voice due to smoking and early strain. ...And no, it's not age, just hear Dennis Deyoung of Styx sing today; He's older than Jonny-boy and doesn't smoke but his voice is still as incredible as in late 70's-mid '80's. Bingo-Bango, I stand undefeated!
