  • Add some Phil Oil into that Shimano freehub = silent and deadly.

  • the loudest frewheel/freehubs I've ever heard were Campagnolos. I'm talking running while dragging a pipe against a chain-link fence loud. My Shimano Ultegra 6700 freehub on the other hand is super-silent, I can't even hear it while riding (or coasting).

  • As the lower one slows you can see the large flat blade spokes = Ksyrium SL. The upper red bike has Dura Ace. Not sure this test means anything though!
