I think it is going to be 1400 meter not 1000 meter, in order to surpass the the 1000 meter high tower proposed in kuwait. anyway wounder if the 1600 m tower in jeddah Saudi arabia is oing to be built.

I admit it's breathtaking the heights that these buildings are reaching but what's the point?

Normally space but these extreme skyscrapers can make a country famous. The first thing that came into my mind about Malaysia was always the Petronas towers. Other than that there is not much except being an engineering marvel.

Officially, it's going to be 1400 meters. Wow. Compared too the 800-something Burj Dubai, that is just amazing. Someday I will visit Dubai. Too bad that because of all the construction, it's polluted as hell.

Cool project, many people say its nicer than burj dubai. I wonder if they will really build it, because there was lot of talk about it already 1,600 meters; 1,200 meters... And i'm curious can recent financial trouble in the world mess up this plans a little.

yea we'll see how having a 300 floor tower works out. not saying it isnt cool, but theres a reason why no one else has built so high so fast, and its not fear or stupidity. its engineering and safety.
