I agree on the breaks/breakbeats, which is why I wish more Hip Hop music was played. Breakdancing is a Hip Hop dance, play some breakbeat music like rap, electro-funk, or even like drum and bass. Or hell, loop the break in the soul record and make a breakbeat. I'm not trying to bag on anyone's preferences, just saying that if you are doing a dance, you should be well skilled in dancing to music it was built upon. Some guys I know can't breakdance to breakbeats and to me it's kind of a shame.
