You vehicles emission systems ensure that all fuel is burned during the combustion cycle and that the only products that exit the tail pipe are water and co2 and some carbon monoxide.
A vehicle with a carburetor might be a different story.

sounds like it's got a slight skip ( maybe a plug problem or a plug wire) and there is no reason it should be spitting water out the exhaust ( that much anyway)
Sounds fine to me, pop on overrun is to be expected on the R53, esp if you have a big head and decat manifold (these make it louder), I cant hear a missfire.... Also all exhausts push water vapour out when both the exhust and engine are cold... its usually caused by vapour thats condensed since it was last used.

and no not ever car does... older engines with a carb instead of fuel injection you could tune it up (right) and it'd burn the fuel that went in no problem.
me and my dad built a 283 chevy for a nova and it drank so much gas the 283 carb couldn't feed it so we put a carb off a 434 big block on it and she ran perfect with no spitting or anything
ya when it drips its running clean it sounds nice but how u rev it sounds wack dude sounds like its choking after u let it off each time like my 97 jetta gt sounds sick manXD magnaflow exhaust from front to back and flow master cats
