Indeed it was but I think you're thinking of Thor, the air one. Only reason I bring that up is because Yukikazeing a Fenrir (the ground one) is even crazier.
In a match against a Hakumen friend of mine I used Fenrir close enough for the muzzle of the gun to hit her. Before it connected, tho, she used Yukikaze and it activated on the muzzle hit. Weird thing is the rest of my Fenrir (the bullet portion) still came out WHILE her Hakumen was slashing through me. Second I finished firing I was dead.
Words cannot describe how sexy yukikaze is. especially when you get a "DISTORTION FINISH" you dont even need to attack someone afterwords that move says it all.
And you could land a gurren n forward c after yukikaze for followup damage or with kishuu and an aerial grab as they are falling as another alternative follow up =]
I've actually done a lot of practice with Yukikaze and Akumetsu, figuring out what you can and can't counter is pretty entertaining. You can counter anything non-projectile (including other astrals) with Akumetsu and it's always fun watching someone stand there with barrier guard up thinking it stops Yukikaze. :)
Yeah, except for Carl's sister nuke, which no one uses as much. But, I'm pretty sure Yukikaze can counter it. Either way, winning with either always makes me feel good.
I miss CT Haku-men. I know he's a lot better in CS and CS2 (And apparently one of the best in CS:EX?) but I just had so much more fun with him in CT.

Best Yukikaze I've done (besides every damn hit skill) was when I won the final game aginst a Rachel with Yukikaze on her frogg. (^~^)

haha you can evade it. For example if he yukikazes a projectile of Rachels she can wind assisted jump over it.
