The next portion has not been handed out yet, and it will have Democratic safeguards and accountability that the Repubs rejected in the name of "not burdening business." I'll be happy to wait for TARP 2.

You will find it was DEMOCRATS that have caused this financial crisis by forcing banks to make toxic loans to begin with. 2) The dems have ruled the House for the last few years. If they wanted to stop it, they could have. That is because they PUSHED it. It was up to them to write in the safeguards to begin with.

Answer to #1: Republican Deregulation / Greed on Wall Street. You must not have a working brain if you think that somehow Democrats "Forced" toxic loans on the banks. #2. The House doesn't matter when the Senate requires a 60 vote majority to pass anything, and the White House has veto power. If we wrote the safeguards, the Republicans would've rejected them and we would have been accused of holding up a rescue process that was extremely urgent. You need to learn politics.
