The Superkey is for loading different "Firmware" on the machine in order to load and play the things from the supercard. The supercard is what stores the files. The reason you see some people using only the supercard with NO superkey is because you are able to reflash the firmware on the DS to load the proper firmware without the key. Sums it up in a nutshell basically
I believe the superkey is for activating the touch screen ability. I think if you didn't have it you couldn't play with touch screen, but I'm not 100% on that.
There are a ton of flashcards. R4, M3 simply, G6 real, CycloDS, and Supercard DS are good slot 1 cards. Supercard lite, M3 lite, and G6 lite are good slot 2s. You'll need a passkey for those that's passkey or superkey. Also if you have a slot 1 and want GBA games, you can use the EZ-flash 3-in-1 expansion. EZ-flash makes the EZ-flash slot 1, but is very poor build quality. It's basically paper.

con eso solo ya puedes jugar. Lo unico que para pasar los juegos a la memoria necesitas un lector de tarjetas SD.
