@ACNC1... Both Bud and Terrence were 100% Italian. They were given English names and spoke English to make the movies more sellable in America, the home of Western movies. Remember, Clint Eastwood was making Italian Westerns at the same time, and he was cashing in.  The Italians figured that, with English stars, the Trinity movies would do as well as the Clint Eastwood movies. In my opinion, the Trinity movies were BETTER.

The real name of Bud Spencer is Carlo Pedersoli. He was born in Naples and, during his youth, he was a great swimmer, member of the olympic italian team and italian recordman in the 100mt freestyle.

The real name of Terence Hill is Mario Girotti. He was born in Venice from Italian father and german mother and during his youth he was a good gymnast and dancer.

This is not Bud's original voice so as Terence: In that period, they spoke badly english, expecially Bud.

guys! that was the starting sequence for all coming Spencer&hill fighting comedies. at first terence and bud made this serious performance. terence tried to be a badass in here, some sort of a wannabe clint eastwood. but he isn't really credible in this role.

one producer noticed the enormous potential of fun during the fighting scene with Bud Spencer. so they made a western parody with both and a new concept was born !

First&best of 3 Hill&Spencer spaghettis from director Guisseppi Colizzi. the only western starring the duo that was a serious movie. the VHS called 'God Forgives I Don't. .the rest were comedies with acrobats&things..You're right..This one scene was a sign of things to come VHS version had different dubbed voices&script and played much better with darker colour tones&hues.Frank Wolf is outstanding as the villain and steals the film..even though he gets blown to pieces

But I believe that Terence Hills real voice hardly ever appears in the old Films. Even in Italian their synchronized (with the exception of one or two films).

Good old days...men fought liek real men, and coming from a Martial Arts amster in my level, that's something, because as much as I admire Jackie Chan, Wu Jing, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Jet Li, Steven Seagal, Yasuaki Kurata, Chuck Norris and the herd, and practice 12 styles, I still miss a real clean simple and straight manly fight,a burly brawl like this one, when men fought without trying to make it look like a ballet or some operalic dancing contest of figures and postures.

I ensure you, they are not dubbed here. It's their real voices. Terence a has perfect American accent as he was helped and taught by his wife, who was always next to him in the back stage to support him in the pronounce, whilst Bud has the tipical, stronger, Italian accent
