so i bought my 4mx used so obviously the previous owner registered with virtual pro7 meaning i cannot because you cant register the product twice...what do i do ? dont tell me I have to buy the software again?

I just got mine today & am totally disappointed, as it seems to be damn near impossible to load the drivers. When the drivers are installing, another found new hardware" window pops up insisting to be installed.No matter what I do the software refuses to install the Asio drivers & Bulk drivers. Even downloading the installation files from the Hercules sit & following heir instructions (installing as administrator) doesn't stop the software from trying to be reinstalled). This makes no sense.

I hate it that these all in one consoles are being made... stick to the real hardware Turntables or CDjs..... also anyone using Virtual DJ is not djing, you are just a playlist maker....

@DJRICHARD210 DJ. Disc Jockey. They by definition are DJ's, using the discs on the software. Like it or not, it's just another way of doing something.

@zimmaster4 yeah I agree with you but anything with a sync button :/ is not djing. Plus if you were to walk in with this to a wedding or high end event you will look like a joke. Visuals count when you are charging a lot of money.... give your clients their monies worth....

@DJRICHARD210 i totaly agree with you,i got told to get this "virtual dj its mint" so just poped it in my laptop to have a look, i beg to differ its cheating i dose not teach any one how to mix this is the wrong type of gear for any begginer dj's out there,you canot call your self a dj just by presssing the sync button.pionner - denon - technics thats all i want in my life :)

@djmorgan27 but what if u use these consoles without pressing the sync button (which is what i do), also i cant afford to buy cdjs AND turntables AND a mixer. how is it considered cheating?

@madman9515 down to it what i was on about was how easy it was putting a mix together ,and "begginer" djs can slip into pressing the sync if they are having problems putting tracks in back to back and not training them selfs properly for hours cueing and playing,im happy you dont go near the sync but im only on about the starters going into the djing route and picking up bad habbits! and about you saying you cant afford cdjs etc,any one can if you are willing to take time to save up

Earn your money the right way and save for the gear..... I did.... look at me now.... What I have didnt happen over night, its taken 16 years. EARN YOUR STRIPES.

Can the Denon DN S1200 be hooked up to the Hercules 4-Mx?

Well, in that case I will need new rack mounts from Hercules. I have the Odyssey laptop case. Its a FZGS10 Glide. With the 4-MX console being approximately 2" wider than the RMX, Hercules will need to to provide smaller rack mounts.  Hope they wont take as long to do so this time than they did with the RMX. Definitely don't want to replace my DJ case.

The wheels are smaller than CDJ-1000 wheels, their diameter is 12cm = 4"7, while CDJ-1000 wheels are larger.

The size of the console is 40x25cm = 15"75 x 9"85.

The tracks come from DJ Spawn and Mateo Myler.

@klsmooth200 it will be quite larger then the rmx. as the jog wheels are roughly the same size as a cdj1000. its never going to be the same quality as a pioneer product. but it does have midi capabilities that the mk3 doesnt have. so if you use traktor or virtual dj it will be worth getting the 4-mx.

I use version RmX 2 years without any other external drive (Pioneer CDJ 1000). VirtualDJ Pro Full version 7.x, I can tell you it's THE TOP OF THE Digital Mixer! So this new "console Deejay" looks quite efficient. Regarding the video, it is sad to see that there are sequences or VirtualDJ LE does not work! Regards to you all :-)

@bradmasterj Hercules just replied to an email I had sent, and they said they would release it to the retailers on the 10th of december, so I'm sure it will be available soon after that (between like 11th-15th)
