I bought a cd that had all sound and kitt talking with vr commander on it to put on my computer that is in the car to use the voice activation software.

I bought a firebird and then added all the parts to it. Didn't buy the car this way.  I built it with help from some friends as well.

adjust the sensitivity of your mic via vr commander if your using it, its to high and your background noise is activating other sounds lol :) good though

Set it to stop listing when its speaking. That will cure that problem. :-)

I am running vr commander and not sure where the setting is to stop listening. When I say a phrase it plays a certain wav file so it isn't actually speaking. If you know of a way to get this program to stop listening while playing the file please let me know, i am trying to figure that out myself.

Hay Buddy, Well I don;t use that program myself. I use VoiceFlux Pro. It allows you to do shed loads of stuff. And has a simple option to temporarily turn off listning for a duration dictated by the user. Its pritty cool stuff.
