@a55kika18 No these are Indian guys, These are basically not from regular army but from BSF (Border security force), while this gun holder guys is from the north mountain areas of India in BSF, that's why he is not looking like typical Indian, Colombo army did not use the Indian INSAS gun, The guy putting the mortar in launcher is holding INSAS gun, which is Indian manufactured and Indian army basic gun, it was injected in army in 1998. in Past Sri Lankan army was Using PAK made G.3

@a55kika18 Actually Pakistan's environment is totally diferent some areas are too cold and some too hot,our army use diferent guns for diferent areas,G.3 is excellent for Hot areas and for under water fire,but in cold areas G.3 is useless,while G.3 size little bit large, it is not used in close counter attack,thats why our army use MP5,M 16 or AK47,like in glacier only AK47 is useable non of any gun in the world is useable in minus temperature because air pressure effect alot to bullet vilocity

INSAS is basically indian made gun, it is used only in India, some other countries like Nepal also used at very limited size in army, INSAS is lighter in weight than G.3 but while its not good as G.3, you can fire even 5000 rounds with g.3, it will work with accuracy but Insas can not, Insas range is better than G 3 because Indian army never comes close to enemy they usually fire from very long distance so they need long range weapon,but caliber & target of G 3 is higher than Insas

@lovenaxalite IMO the 7.62 beats the 5.56 in every aspect.Larger bullet=more power+more range+more penetration.5.56 has very little armor piercing capability.However...If the indians manage to use the 5.45x39 instead than we are in some serious trouble.The only +point for the 5.56 is its controllability and small size meaning more ammo.
