Main thing... Enjoy it. My last acoustic was a nightmare, but it was all I had and I learned a lot from it, Bless its little heart.

We adopted a 3 year old cat a couple of months ago and she'd never let us manipulate her paws like that.. she's no fun!! I guess all cats have their own personalities and this one is loving.. in her own way.. but is skiddish! Thank you for sharing your new piano! Your composition 'Ella' was very good! Lol. Well.. patience for one. Don't expect to be able to suddenly just take on a load of activities.. build up to it slowly, do what you can cope with. And then discipline and motivation is important to stick to your commitments.. and to get your butt into gear when ur feeling lazy. It helps that I really love doing these things.. so its worth the effort. Sometimes I overdo it though, and I come down with a cold.. so yeh.. I'm still learning too.

Hehe yeh I know how you feel. 61 keys is teh sux0rs. Lol. I've played on one of those before. I even tried playing on a tiny midi keyboard but gave up on that pretty quickly! I know its really frusting but my mum says noooo to expensive lol. Very hard! i had to do so many takes and as you can tell one part when out of sync but other than that it was ok. Having a pre recorded part on my ipod helped a bit though :D

What about piano plus vocal accompaniment? Also, when shooting piano playing what about pointing the camera up and to the left so that it gets the hands plus face. And, I hope your cat feels better - she plays piano very well - I'd have scratches if I tried that with my cat.

Yeh.. eventually I'll get around to doing more of that. My singing is pretty rusty atm.. plus I have a cold which is never a good combination for singing. Hehe and yes Ella is the most sweet-natured kitty.. she's such a good cat. :)
