  • I agree...but this could've been more productive. Any suggestions on how to find a REAL natural product?

  • then your looking for organic products not natural

  • It bothers you, wow get a life.. People can use whatever they want to in their... I'm 10 months natural, if I want to use heat or or anything I wanna.. It's none of your dam business.. This video is crap I wish I can dislike it 10 million times..

  • Well.....I didn't even know that about the list of ingredients...thanks.

  • Thank you! Same problem I had when I shop for natural hair products. I have resigned myself to mixing up my own with oils and raw shea butter and using my blacksoap mixture for shampoo. My hair loves it!

  • If it's not edible...it probably shouldn't go on your hair or skin.

Your body absorbs all those toxins.

    Just saying.

  • i feel what she saying, however very few are natural if taking what she's saying as truth. People are eating unnatural food, that makes the hair UN-natural. u r what u eat.

  • Love this!!! Going on my facebook for hair!!!!

  • I agree with you!!!

  • Very informative...I just did my big chop a day ago, and am currently trying different products, to see which one my hair likes best.a whole food store was where I found the majority of my products and since my hair is short, I really needed information on how to combat dryness.. Any tips??? and thank you in advance..:-)

  • The best place to find ALL NATURAL products is at Whole Food. Majority of my hair products are from Whole Food and the ingredients are always 100%. Example: to answer to CaramelCleo's comment Jojoba Seed oil should be listed as "Pure Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil aka Jojoba Oil." Or you can make your own by purchasing the raw materials from natural stores. With that said, great video and thanks for the sharing.

  • Hey ladies, the best hairstyle in my opinion for ya'll is bald...

    Just sayin... lmfao.

Never met a finer sista than a bald sista

  • there is nothing like a chocolate woman plz don't be hurt red bones cuz i gets at cha to. but this woman is some kinda natural blackness fine. and i listened to this vid. but i can't get over her fineness

  • you are always smiling in your videos no matter what..it makes me smile..and im not even natural! i love it lol!

  • 14 people like being lied to and love being in denial

  • I got the point and parrecitated the video, I must admit it had me laughing though.Rarely do you get to vent with such a calm tone

  • Nice hair

  • I agree with you. Advertising hair products is often deceptive.

  • You ARE usually a calm and laid-back individual, but I understand that ya just gotta vent and get things off your chest.

Oh, and I so agree with you.

  • Marketing sneakie tactics.....make your own stuff!

  • Thats why we all need to create our own natural hair products with vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter etc....

  • cont. doing them too often. when u know better u do better if u go back to relaxers u know more about your hair & will probably maintain healthier hair. chemical free is not 4 all, it can be time consuming & expensive. companies r out to make money natural products r a serious trend. they don't say they're all nat. if they're r not. a large company can have 2% percent nat. ingredients & say it's better or put argan oil as the 17th of 25 ingredients and call itself argan oil. consumer beware!

  • always read the labels, drugstore & beauty supply r not 4 u if u want all nat. products. the grocery food aisles & internet r your best bet. if henna & nat. relaxers r not getting your curl pattern loose enough it's time to bite the bullet & texturize or texlax. realxers get a bad rap 50-70% percent of damage caused is relaxer abuse: putting used relaxer in the freezer, leaving them on too long, using the wrong strength, mix&match products, like using a dif neutralizing shampoo, doing them too.

  • I really like your video. I think you should have mentioned the products you were upset about. I think it would have really been helpful to people new to the natural hair journey. I am big on reading labels whether its food or anything, because you do want to get what you paid for. Again good video

  • was upset about the same thing this morning. Bought a set that said that it was fleece line - opened it up this morning, and fleece is nowhere in the product. 92% polyester and 8% spandex. No Fleece at all .Could you imagine? False advertising is what that is and in EVERYTHING!

  • I agree...I have a habit of always reading the ingredient list on everything...its a time consumer but its worth it cause now I know which products are legitimate...I also count how many chemicals are in the ingredients and compare it to the number of natural ingredients, if ratio of natural ingredients is much higher than the chemicals and it has good ratings then I buy

  • I agree...I have a habit of always reading the ingredient list on everything...its a time consumer but its worth it cause now I know which products are legitimate...I also count how many chemicals are in the ingredients and compare it to the number of natural ingredients, if ratio of natural ingredients is much higher than the chemicals and it has good ratings than I buy

  • this is why i've moved more and more towards making my own hair stuff. i still use a few products that aren't totally natural but they never claim to be, so i'm fine with that. i'm irritated by labels that say "all natural ingredients," because that can be misleading to people -- it has SOME all-natural ingredients, not ALL natural ingredients. =p

i read the label of everything i buy out of habit b/c i'm a vegetarian. so that carried over to hair products.

  • Organic root stimulator is another example of a company that claims that their products are natural when in fact, they're not. For example, the olive oil moisturizing hair lotion they produce has petrolatum in it. As soon as i read the ingredients on the bottle after I purchased it, i stopped using it right away. Now I don't even buy black hair products from the store anymore w/out reading the ingredients. It's very important to read labels.

  • anything with the most unhealthy ingredients such as petrolatum and mineral oil that claims to be natural definitely ain't natural at all either.

  • Put 'em on blast!!! Share which companies are BSing the public!

  • ur so right

  • Wonderful!! Thanks for sharing ....

    ~Namaste'

  • I was so excited about FINALLY finding jojoba oil at the beauty store and got pretty frustrated when jojoba oil was the sixth ingredient after five complex chained chemicals.....FRUSTRATING!

Why call it jojoba oil? It should be named bitetratriphosphetylacetlite-6. Just let it all hang out...lol

  • @CaramelCleo thankyou!!! i made that mistake last week ugh

  • @CaramelCleo make sure its certified organic before u buy!

  • @missycb34 thanks. I know that now, I learned my lesson that day.....4 months ago apparently.

  • oh yeah......Folks be leary when products says" botanical oils" that means parbens. lol I'm just saying

  • Stop talking about mixed chicks products lmfao. just joking

  • Thank you !!! I feel the same way!!! I preach and teach, "Know What You Are Using on Your Skin and Hair"!!!!! That is why I am making some of my own hair and skin care products!!! People just need to get educated!!!

  • LMAO LOVEEE this video!

  • I Completly understand your point. What's make a product 'natural' is the amount of percentage of natural ingredients in it that have to be higher than the chemicals ones! It's the same for fair trade products. If one ingredients is fair trade so does the products even tho the other ones are not. Sad isnt it?

  • about our deadly slow killers.

  • I agree with you 100 percent. It's all about the mighty dollar. These man-you facture company don't care about us. If we as people wake up and stop buying their products and get back to the basic. These corporation will listen because they will lose a lot of money and that's not what they want. Think about over the course of life how much toxin we expose to our pore which absorbs everything. No wonder there are so many sick people in the world today. Check out EWG website you will learn alot.

  • you don't have to straighten your hair ( good hair film)? it's too dangerous

  • This why I just buy as much as I can from the natural food stores and make it myself. You get more natural ingredients for your buck.

  • Make your own, YEA!!!!!!. I use some products that aren't natural, but my nightly leave in is an all natural product that I make and it is growing my hair and keeping it healthy. And it is cheaper than going out and buying these products that have alcohol, parabens, and sulfates in them and say they are natural. Not fully natural on all my products but definitely the one that I make and that is super moisturizing. And my mom loves my home made product and now puts some on my brothers hair. :)

  • If you are buying coconut oil, the only ingredient should be just that...coconut oil. Also with shea butter and other natural oils or butters...the only ingredients in these products should be what it is labeled as...shea butter should only contain shea butter. I buy shea butter in large chunks and break it off and melt as I go. The best place to find these products in their truly natural states is from African stores.

  • It's all about product advertising. If a product says "natural"...it will include natural products, but it will also include man-made products. Look for products that specify "all-natural", or "100% natural." 99% of the time these products will only contain all natural ingredients. I totally agree because when I decided to go natural, I didn't mean just as far as perms etc., I also want to use only all natural ingredients, which we all know are 100% better for your hair. Great comment!!

  • Hair companies (most not black owned) create these so-called natural lines bc they have seen a huge shift in black hair care to INCLUDE natural styles...Perms & texturizers still RULE hair care but these companies c an opportunity 2 make millions from our natural hair.WE have 2 be careful 2 read.Mineral oil, petroleum, alcohols, known carcenogenics, preservatives, etc...how is that natural? Many r liars&thieves out 2 make a quick buck.We have 2 police the hair care companies. It pisses me off 2!

  • @mcoordinator it pisses me off too! great comment!

  • Organix is a good example of a product line that illustrates this type of hypocrisy.

  • you are so cute ! lol

  • LMBO!!!!!

  • OHH NO! I JUST PURCHASED THIS FRIZZ CONTROL FROM AVON AND IT HAS PEG-10 IN IT! =[

  • Wow thang for THIS VID!!!!!! I was so ignorant as to what usage of products because I'm transitioning but now I have a idea! Thank you ^ ,*

  • Lol (^^) There are some ppl out there who also misread ingredients! Take the Shea Moisture line that is avaliable at Target. Poeple using it make videos and put them on YouTube stating that the ingredients are organic or "100% organic" but if you read the back of the container the ingredients CLEARLY states that the only " certified organic ingredient" is the Shea Butter which is listed as "Butyrospermum Parkii" everything else is not certified!!! So ppl please be careful when reading : 0 )

  • lol.But U're absolutely right. (&I do know that ingredient order thing ;)). It's a great lobby for cosmetic industry that's what it is That's why I hate publicity cause it's the most hypocrite indust.ever. F.I. nothing to do w/hair but today I went to the supermarket &saw this cheese something package and the picture was of a delicious looking tiramisu dessert or somet. & I wondered : but is there a cheese dessert inside? but not realy I read it and was just regular fresh cheese or something.lol

  • The Oil companies are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common people.

  • You have just schooled me Autumn an I really appreciate that! Thank you sooooo much ;-)

  • you should've helped us all out and posted the companies you were talking about...

  • THANK you for this video and for doing so respectfully in terms of not putting companies on blast. Great topic that is often overlooked.

  • When a product claims it CONTAINS "all natural ingredients", watch out!

Know what to avoid and read those labels with a magnifying glass if necessary.

I'm feeling you strongly, girl. Oh, and LOL @ the Bush comment.

  • Once those "products" go mainstream or more commercial and aren't solely owned by us....hey we know what happens. The ingredients are diluted and filled with chemicals so they are able to mass produce it for the market. Personally I DO NOT use "them" for this same reason. I stick with a couple of people that actually make their products and they are really all natural FOR REAL!!!

    Great video!!!

  • Thanks sis!!! Which products should I use???? Help!!!! I am natural but I'm having a hard time finding products. My hair is very thick and coarse, my husband asked me to go natural but I just might crack.

  • I here you. I feel the same way concerning my choices of products. Companies got onto the "natural" ingredient bandwagon to boost their sales.

  • LMFAO!

Thank you! You seem to be the only person that understands what I'm thinking when I walk into a store looking for hair products!

    CHECK your LABELS people!

  • Autumn, you're quite a talker in your videos. But thats what makes them cool n funny. I just subscribed =] I've been natural for 4 years and I'm tired of not havin ne growth over the years. Blunt answer is because I didn't "baby" it and take care of it as I should. I'm rockin curly styles now [I hate that it takes me awhile to set the bantu knots, etc, but I love the resutls] I'm also using shea butter [i love it] I'm doing the BRAID TWIST OUT. i may start doing videos like you. It looks fun.

  • i am confused over you def of chemicals. all matter has a chemical composition eg. a banana, desk, grease. Now there are some chemicals when misplaced or misused can cause harm..

  • @bulleh44

yeah, i just look at it like:

does this chemical occur in nature? or is it synthetic?

  • @curlychronicles thanx a bunch for that info and if anyone thinks ur angry something's wrong with them. All I see is someone who cares(like u said) and speaking their mind in a calm like manner(that's how I am). Again I appreciate the info given...it's good for me to know and love to learn more.

  • I googled "travel hokkaido (japan) english" wtf? Internet, seriously, wtf? This is relevant???

  • i am so feeling you... i read the labels on EVERYTHING that i buy... especially food and hair products...

  • RIGHT ON SIS!!

  • One of the reason why 1 in 4 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer is base on the natural BS, we buy into... as a child the only thing my grandmother used on my hair was coconut oil or vaseline, and my hair was very healthy...the simplier the better I say.

  • Watch out for the paraben family which are in most products, the PARABENS ARE toxic to humans, check all of ur things, lotions everything..,.

  • It boils down to being educated about products. Most consumers r ignorant about products, & companies take advantage of that ignorance. It makes me happy to see more black women becoming aware about products. In the end buying all these products is an exercise in futility. U're better off sticking to the simple stuff, castor oil, Emu oil, natural shampoos from health food stores, apple cider vinegar, making your own products and keeping it in your fridge is really quite simple.

  • anywhere on the container I run like hell b/c those ingredients make my hair a dry tangled mess. I have long thick hair and am stuggling ever since moving to ga and having to battle hard water. Evenw/ the filter I bought I don't have the same results as if I washed my hair with distilled water or water that's not hard! It's trial and era, sorry!

  • whether it be chemical or natural if you don't know what you're doing you're results will mirror your trial and era. There are chemicals that don't work for me. And there are natural ingredients that don't do me justice either. You have to find something that works for you. If I see silk proteins, sulfates, or alcohol

  • Food companies do the same thing. It is not their fault that consumers aren't taking the time to educate themselves & read product ingredients. It only takes 5 seconds to skim down a list of ingredients before buying it to see if its truly natural. I don't get whats in peoples minds when they just buy things wo reading ingredients. I put no blame on the businesses bc its not their job to educate people--its their job to make $. But people know that & the sad thing is they just really don't care.

  • (continued) Thats why American adults are so fat now- because they don't take the time to really look into what they are eating. And they say dumb shit like "Well everything is bad for you so there is really no point of trying to prevent it." I don't feel bad for people like that who die from their habits but I feel bad for the kids who don't get taught the right way to do things. But I'm glad to see the people in the comment section actually care about their health as well as the poster. =]

  • It's probably a lot easier to just google the difference because it's kind of complicated lmao.

  • That's the thing about the word "natural". When it comes to food, natural food is allowed to be sprayed with chemicals, but in products, if it's aloe vera oil from the aloe vera plant even if they spray it with chemicals it's "natural". Organic on the other hand (food) has to be regulated according to the FDA. Hair care products is not regulated so companies can say whatever they want! :) But I understand your pain. :)

  • natural my ass....lol! luv the hair

  • First off, I really love your hair in this , I'about to try that hairstyle tomorrow.

Also, while many of your points are valid, bear in mind that some chemicals are in fact natural that is naturally ocurring (hence organic chemistry)

  • something else is that people think that just because they are paying a higher price for something that it is better then the cheaper products when they have the same exact ingredients. People have to learn to do the research and start thinking for themselves.

  • WOW! thnx 4 the info. dnt knw that wht comes first is the most potent in the product. And tha'ts why I'm scared to try new products because I'm not sure what's really in them. I'm still using motions shampoo and the mizani hydrafuse conditioner.

  • Ooh, thanks! I didn't know about carols . :(

  • I like your video because I saw some products at walmart...and it was talking about green tea and coconut oil and there was so many chemical in it. I was like 'No i'm not buying that one' Good that you brought that up.

  • Thankful that you made this video because many people have no clue what most of the ingredients listed on product labels are and their purposes. Note to everyone:RESEARCH! I on the otherhand have been designing All- Natural Hair & Body Products for over 14 years! NO chemicals or dyes! Curly Chronicles, inbox me your mailing info so I can send you samples to try out and give your review. Anyone interested in a sample of my hair products inbox me your information & hair type. Blessings to all!

  • I wished you'd have told us which products you're venting about. lol I'm sure it's a lot of the ones I use and never paid attention to the ingredients.

  • Giovanni, love the leave -in

    Auburey Organics

Yes to Cucumber, Yes to Tomatoes are good too!

  • I really like Qhemet Biologics, Afroveda, karen's Body beautiful, and Dracy's Botanicals.

Jant Carter is a mixed bag, cuz some of her stuff like the shampoo has slufates

Carols & Miss jessies are BS.

  • Great video, thanks for brining this out.

  • HI ! Thank you so much for your chronicles... until i saw them i wasn't sure to keep my 3 year natural hair, not knowing how to care/treat it...

I would like to know if it could be possible for you to post a list of products you use and possibly your routine hair care.

A big thank you from Canada !

  • ........lol i kno that was a lot but dammit girl i needed to get my feelings out lmao!

  • Um, why'd you stop!? lol

  • wat??

  • ...i havent really gone into the jessies girl and carols daughters and all of the i want to but i dnt have the time to order that shit lol...so i prolly dont kno wat real good moistuizing does with these shitty products lol..yea but im pissed too lmao, but thats what i get looking a this stuff with a bunch of white girls on the commercial talking bout they moisturize when we clearly dont have the same type of hair lol thats my own fault

  • ....o but wait it has olive, shea, and avocado it ..thats some bullshit because the drying out ingredient in it is drying out my hair waay more than the moistuizing ingredients......fucking bullshit lol....now the conditer has a lot of ingrediends in it also but has no sulfate and as far as i kno no harmful ingredient it moisturizes my hair pretty well .....but the may just be because ive only used a lot of commercial product

  • gurL i Feel u lol...nd fuck that not puttin them on blast ...lemme put them on blast GARNIER FRUCTIS lol has this new shampoo and conditioner that says its really good and moisturizing in your hair it has avocado, olive oil and i think shea or vitamin e , but i get home and read the shampoo bottle and like the 3rd damn ingredient is sufate how the hell can some shampoo moisturize your hair with sulfate being the 3rd ingredient if that shit clearly dires your hair out

  • YOU ARE CORRECT ABOUT THE ORDER OF INGREDIENTS. Great going on that information. :) It's something many consumers have no clue about. I wish more people would open their eyes to the falseness of products on the market today. If more people would do their homework 98% of the hair products would not be on the shelves.

I use raw coconut oil or 100% natural shea butter on my hair. Thanks for you video. Hopefully your message will inspire people to research labels and their meanings.

  • I totally disagree with you, but i respect your opinion. I feel that taking care of your hair in its natural state is natural. my most important issue was the perm which caused me to have horrible migraines for years. We as naturals in a whole have to stop making categories for being natural. Rather if its the hair type or the products we use to gain that length or height, we are all reaching for the same goal HEALTHY HAIR. Great video and again I respect your opinion on your thoughts thanks!

  • she's not saying that using non-natural product would make YOU or your hair not-natural. She's just saying the product in itself should not call itself natural.

  • I second Yvey78 everything is made of chemicals, the thing u want to avoid are mineral oil and petrolatum they're like by product that don't belong on or in living creatures. My point? This is what our beloved coconut oil looks like when given its chem class name: COCONUT OIL ACID DIETHANOLAMINE. Get where i'm coming from?

  • That's why I buy my hair products in the coking aisle of the grocery store. Coconut oil, avocado oil, and I'm good to go.

  • Thanks for that what u said is so true and I luv ur hair.

  • I am a heavy reader of all product labels, including food.

I make my own hair and skin products. If I can't digest it, I don't put it in my hair.

    Good video.

  • Natural, unlike organic, has no regulation in their labeling - if they put 00.1% of shea butter in their products they can slap on the natural label with no shame. People know about poison ivy (maybe not exactly what it looks like but most know of its effects). Now how many people know about phthalates? The point is, we know what water is, what coconut oil is the question is why is imidazolidinyl urea or Propylene/butylene glycol used in products and what's its purpose and the side effects.

  • Hahaha I love your videos. The last stament you said really made me laugh about Bush

  • i love this video!

  • african americans are known to have the most curliest hair in the whole human race to be politically correct.

  • The bottom line, "natural" products Shea butter etc all contain "chemicals", every food, liquid, cream gel, that exists on the planet is made of chemicals. Human beings are made up or organic chemicals. Chemicals are not all bad. Sorry for the rant I just get frustrated sometimes. As am MD I see pts who say oh well "I was using a natural product and I got this reaction". I tell them poison Ivy is "natural" and it still can cause a reaction

  • Thank you. I'm a research scientist and while I'm all about being "natural" I sometimes want to rant when I see complaints about chemicals or what's sooo, natural. Some of the things people consider natural are the same things or made of the some things that they are against. I apreciate however that people are concerned about products they use. But I do think they should put just as much effort into looking at what their "natural" products are derived from or even processed. Good example. Soap

  • I love you, and your videos, they are very useful but just have to mention this. What exactly do you define as a chemical vs a "natural product". Everything is a chemical. Chemical just means it has a chemical structure. Water is H20, Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate or NaHCO3, Apple Cider Vinegar contains acetic acid or CH3COOH.

  • Saw your other video but comments are disabled. I think you have 3c hair....

  • some ingredients are preservatives for the natural ingredients and arent necessarily bad for the hair. some kinds of alcohol are good and some ingredients have "science" sounding names, but may mean fruit oil or Vitamin E. its always good to look up the ingredient before we assume its not good for us.

But yeah, I lovee this video, love your style hair is on point as always

  • im sooo glad i came across this video, i didnt know that the first ingredient is the main ingredient and the rest are in order by the amount, i just purchased this "Creamy Nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo, with egg white proteins" and the LAST.. I REPEAT LAST three freakin ingredients are egg white, coconut milk and fragrance. so i guess that means i bought a bottle of bullshit with a drop of coconut in it !!!

  • Great Video!

  • Hey, thanks for the vid. I wonder how "natural" Aveda products. I went to this so called Natural salon her in STL and they use only Aveda, so I went on the

Website and it only list "key ingredients"

they have product called Be curly and I was going to buy it, til I came across your video. Thanks CC

  • So true, have you checked out the ethnic isle at Wal-mart? It's very disgusting to not find what your hair needs.

  • i HATE the "ethnic aisle" at wal-mart. the y have natural section there now with giovanni and other truly natural products;-) I love it.

  • not only is it full of chemicals it's also 30+ dollars a bottle! for a SMALL bottle at that! I'm a newbie and I see a lot of products out there then i look at the ingredient list and see all these products have mineral oil, petroleum, alcohol and silicones i'm going to keep my money in my pocket.

  • 3:58 Is that a tattoo of a flower?

  • Wonderful video! Very well said!

  • She is so right and the stuff that they put in there is the main stuff we need to stay away from like Cetyl Alcohol, which is in almost everything. Why do they put that shit in black hair products anyway.

  • whoa, I thought Cetyl Alcohol was GOOD for the hair because it helps with moisture. Isn't it derived from coconut, or something??

  • I read that cetyl alcohol is good b/c it is a fatty alcohol. it doesn't dry hair out like other alcohols. it actually has the opposite affect

  • So what do u use in ur hair dat is natural

  • "Makes me think of Bush" >>>>>>>> LMAO!

  • These companies think we're SO fuckin' stupid!!! I feel you, girl. It pisses me off too! >:-P

  • okok...Man, I really appreciate this vid!!! Can u tell me if komaza Care is legit!?! Cause I really don wanna waste my money!

  • I couldn't have said it better myself! LOL so true, so true! I'm a heavy label reader. I'm trying to learn how to make my own hair products.

  • I agree with you 1000%!!! I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot.

  • PEG! PEG!! PEG!!!!! hahahahah..a

  • I agree it is so frustrating, that there is false advertising...But, like you said one must research and learn what they are using. good post. I fell you ...

  • I completely agree with you, but there are sooo many elements to this "natural" issue. For example, take the difference between extracts & infusions. According to the Komaza Care web site, sometimes alcohol is used to place extracts into products. If that is true, then products w/ extracts aren't completely natural either.

  • In my opinion you have to find products that work for you because I am african american with curly thick hair so i use carolsdaughter and nasabb. And also I make my own hair smoothie and hair treatment and trust it is all natural bc I make it out of my kitchen. My hair grows like crazy but I have to clip my ends and keep is moist like everyone else. peace and love

  • was it's name similar to carla's daughter?

if so let me know so I can look for another brand of hc prod.

  • Also, lemme say this. Make sure that you do pay attention to the section (if listed) that says "ACTIVE INGREDIENTS". Those are the ingredients that make that product do what it do. "OTHER INGREDIENTS"...those are the "sides" to the main dish.

  • Wow! Clearly--she reads tha labels which is Y she is venting that sum of these products are misleading & that WE SHOULD be vigilant in reading tha labels 2 insure our quest 4 "Natural Products" is not profited from...by lies. If u "formulate your own ingredients & don't misrepresent products YOU sell"--then obviously your not whom she is addressing now is it? Breath.

  • Girrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl, you are not the only one that hates that! I once was in Sallys Beauty Supply and I found a products that said it had a natural thing in it. I looked at the back and read the ingredients. I did not see it even listed in there. So, I read it again to make sure I was not reading it wrong, The natrural thing that is was supposed to have in there was not even on the back of the bodle. Did the natural ingredient dissaper when I went to read it or something??????????

  • okay. but i think that there are some people with natural hair that need to use more that just raw materials on their hair to make it manageable. i agree with what u r saying in your video about companies. yet this is how they make money, u can't be mad at them. I think it is up to the consumer to investigate the labels of these products to decide whether or not they are ALL NATURAL. ADVERTISEMENTS ARE FOR PROFIT!!!! it is up to us what we put in our hair

  • I'm going to suggest that you research some of these ingredients a bit more and THEN make a video on it. I formulate my own products and have spent years researching my ingredients.. Just because you aren't familar with the ingredients doesn't mean that they are bad for your hair or skin. Yes, there are those who skimp on the ingedients such as shea butter BUT some ingredients cannot or should not be used in large percentages. And yet your hair and skin will benefit from them. RESEARCH

  • ITA....I always read labels on anything I buy including food. A lot of hair care moisturizer products are mostly petroleum with other ingredients added.... thats why I buy my products and mix them accordingly for me and my daughters hair.

  • You sound like a Sagittarius...

  • try qhemet biologics, aubrey organics, karens body beautiful, kinky-curly,or komaza care. They are pretty natural at least 80-98%.

  • if you talking bout natural just use majo, olive oil, eggs, beer, avo and shit like that..true i agree with you there arnt any natural products out there!

  • ur so pretty.

  • well do you know of any all natural products

  • You're so cute! I love all your videos... thanks!

  • the best product for natural hair is Carols Daughter that is what i used when i was natural and it kept my hair up very well, and my hair grew so much i would recommend it to any one who is natural... and also Kinky Curly is also another great natural product for great curls for ur natural fro.

  • carols daughter is awful too much beewax, which clogs the hair follicles and leave excessive buildup on the hair( I speak from expierience, it took a month to wash out) but kinky curly is great. Also try komaza care and qhemet biologics or karens body beautiful

  • But CD smells great! I usually get it for the wonderful smells...and I love their shampoos

  • is organix a good natural hair care comapany like they claim

  • Nope organix products contain formaldhyde donors

  • You are hilarious. I know exactly what you mean. I have noticed that a lot of products are not necessarily all natural but they claim they use natural ingredients. I love that end part about how all that lying reminds you of Bush, lol !!

  • I can't believe I stumbled on this vid today, I was just sarching for authentic natural skincare lines. I find it pretty easy to find natural hair care prodics, face care I find hard to locate. If anyone knows of a good natural skin care line please share.

Lol @ lying reminds you of Bush; so cute.

  • OMG!! I just want to give everyone who commented a HUGE hug!! I love finding like-minded people! Thank you Autum!

  • Tell it hon. The "green" market is totally getting boomed from the boobtube and they try are trying to target people who want "natural" products. But ya gotta turn that bad boy around and look at the ACTUAL ingredients. In fact the FDA's definition of "Natural" actually isn't natural at all! So they get away with it. I'm worried they might try to officially alter the def of "organic"

Another great product though is "Kinky Curly" Excellent stuff!

  • Yeah, I think natural products are hit and miss. But when you hit on a good one, it really makes all the searching, tests and trials worth it!

  • I guess it depends on what you call "natural". Like kenyalank alluded to, sometimes things derived from natural things have names we don't understand. :)

  • exactly. as a CHEMISTRY MAJOR. I Agree. so called natural products derived from resources of plant/fruit/veg origin. DO have scientific names given to them based on the chemical composition. even though the derivation is from a natural source. one should research to find out exactly what they are. before ruling out a long chemical NAME as an unnatural product
