  • Don't even front. Get some of Chef Noodles ribs if you want good ribs.

  • i went there yesterday and sat up at the bar the beer is great the baby back ribs are phenominal best ever

  • Slow's customer service is AWFUL, It was my first time going with my cousin and the waiter wasn't very informative about the menu. And in my eyes that determinds if I even stay for 5mins

  • This place was great at one point but now IT SUCKS ASS. They need to remember the customers that put them where they are at. They're days are numbered. If you are sick of the bullcrap at Slows try Lazy Bones on Groesbeck, best, I mean Best pulled pork I ever had!!!!

  • The mac and cheese there is almost as good as the best sex you ever had. Wow !!! It's crazy good !!!

  • Best BBQ in town...or anywhere!

  • Last time I was there, I didn't eat, cuz I refused to wait 2hrs.....Note to hostess - if you tell someone there's a 1hr wait, there should be a 1hr wait, not a 2 hr wait.....Sure, I've always had to wait, but never to the ridiculous degree that greeted our party - and everyone else languishing out on the patio.....Come on Slow's! Get your act together!!!

No food is worth waiting 2 hours!!!!

  • Must be pretty darn popular then. Too bad I am just not that into meat.

  • whoooooo

  • The Blood Falcon's Bikes are out front! Must have been a Thursday meeting! Yum!

  • Did he own Duggans Irish Pub on Woodward, too? Just figured because of his name. Both are great metro Detroit places to eat and drink.

  • Slows was once named DuPerry's and owned by my Uncle Dennis Patrick Duggan (3/10/1919 - 5/26/2007)the son of imigrant parents from Cork, Ireland. He grew up on Lumley street in Detroit and later moved to Dearborn Heights. He and a silent partner (attorney/politician)named Frank Cappezio owned the bar in 1959. Not sure for how long. My Dad worked there on Sunday's for $5 a day. When the Tiger games let out they were 6 deep at the bar. Any further info is welcome.
