I am a musician myself and a crybaby when it comes to these types of events. I really do not know how Mr. Elton John sung this song without even showing his emotions. I would have broken down and cried a river. Indeed Princess Diana will be remember not just because she was royalty but more for her love for humanity itself. Her two boys, now men should always be proud of thier mother. On this day 1/28/2011 it has been 14 years but her spirit is still strong in this world today. Godspeed.

But I have always wondered why if she was so smart about the ways of the world why didn't she know to wear a seat belt? If she did she may have been okay like her driver who survived because he wore his seat belt. Just a thought

Even after all these years, this still brings tears to my eyes and I still find it hard to believe she is really gone. @elfgirl3, her mother the old Queen Mum was the rock during WWII. Elizabeth was just a girl when it started. Of course she was grown before it was over and she did join that "military" group and became a dang fine mechanic. I'm an American, but I think she's a classy old dame.

This is so beautiful, and befitting too to see Sir Richard Attenborough sitting front and center. His character X from The Great Escape.was a hero to me when I was young. Diana Spencer earned her title Princess in a short time using her limelight to draw the world's attention upon the scourge of land mines in lands in and once in conflict. She would be so proud of the two men her sons have become.
