I think they've always termed it as the Aquino candor. She's the attention-spoiled youngest child and the most "pasaway" of all. So the emotions I am sure in the speech were heavily guilt-laden, forever missing a loving mother who's always been so patient with a daughter's trouble-dealing ways. Okay I'll tell you what I think. But first I'll answer muna your question. Didnt you hear the MC? I was all tuned in just like the rest during the coverage. The youngest Aquino was tasked to "offer a response". It wasn't all just for the memory of her Mom but thanking the people for the outpouring love and support for Mom, plus what Mom did for family and most esp, for putting up with her who caused Mom too much head- and heartache. So, that speech was written for everyone.
