I'm 34, saw my first Anime in the late 80s (Laputa: Castle in the sky) and greedily gorged myself on it during the glory days of the early/mid 90s — but the last ten years have been mostly awful, where even the aesthetic quality, artwork and stylisation has wen't right downhill. There always has been a large section of anime — rarely seen in the west — that was childish and cute but 99% of it seems that way now.

@Agirmetal He said "hideena" which is a more casual way of hidoi na which means 'so horrible' or 'so mean'. I watched this so many times in English way before I discovered my interest in Japanese and now I'm in Japan and can understand it in Japanese!
